Foxee
05-07-2008, 07:51 PM
Dang, I'm trademarked. I get:
Home of Foxee (TM) the "friendly online interactive" blue fox.
The Foxee Anamatronic Robot Project blog
A YouTube username (not me)
BlueFox fishing lures
A Foxee bag & T-shirt from zazzle.com
The name of an adoptable Pomeranian dog
A myspace user video channel (not me) with some 4-way tug of war
Foxee Image Salon in California
AKC West Highland White terriers
An adoptable Husky named Foxee from an animal shelter

Goes on from there in pretty much the same vein...cartoon characters, fishing lures, usernames. I honestly thought I'd get a lot of pages I shouldn't open. ;)

The reason this relates to the Key West conversation is that these cats are famously (at least in the states) associated with the Hemingway house on Key West.

When I think back on it...hmmmm...1984...oh, I remember now....

I was one of those creepy little Goth kids (original Goth, first time arround, not EMO) with asymetrical (yes, Flock of Seagulls) hair and black clothes and combat boots. Not easy to be when you lived on the beaches of Central Florida.

1984, I was 5.....I went to an Episcopal private school. I wore a dress to school everyday. My mom spent more on my clothes than she did on her own. My parents also owned a toy store in the mall of the small town we lived in. Life was totally awesome in 1984!

Laughter Fading

A Gaia Online username (That's where I first made it up, for my brother.)

eBay - Marillion Clutching at Straws CD..."it is not an actual track, it merely consits of someone crying "Help!" then echoing muffled laughter fading off into silence."

The Morning After lyrics by Faith No More..."Yesterday's forgotten, the morning after I can taste you, I can hear your laughter Fading in the distance Recollections drifting Bl oodstains on my tattered..."

In This Sign - A Highly Acclaimed Novel of a... - Google Books Result
"At last they could only sit gasping and clutching their sides, the laughter fading and being reawakened without anyone really knowing why. Then it was over."

It continues along like that for a while, getting less and less accurate.
