Recently I have been recording an Album. This is a One album deal and a one off.
A few of us have gotten together to form a band called Symphony. Mostly the music is acoustic but some of the tracks have been electric. Originally there was four of us but in the end its turn out that there will be five of us.
Anyhow a local company promotes local bands Eyes Wide Shut Recordings and we have decided to be one of those bands. There won’t be much profit in it for us and our main performance was Battle Of The Bands at Floral Hall. We played against 11 other bands and came third. Though we only received third place because of my Song She Love’s The Rain. A song which I am now really proud of.
The place was packed and we had a tough contest because everyone who entered was great. And we also found out that night that I cannot sing fast paced songs. LOL
So with that The Album will be finished and fully recorded and put to disc by the start of July.

[Acoustic Guitar joins the piano in a soft rhythm]
She Loves The Rain
The grey skies above
Are tears from the angels
She loved the rain
In many ways
Always hiding the tears
She loved the rain
The stars above us
Will shine all that brighter
For her smile will find birds singing in spring
One kiss from her still red lips
Is a Kiss from an Angel
Autumn leaves will fall as she glows
One touch is like the joy
Of belonging into heaven
Her heart was like the beat of a deer
Fleeing the hunter through the woods
And yet she managed to find a smile
She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above
She would grace a smile
And tell me
She loves the rain.
Oooh it’s just an endless night
Falling water is rain
From above she would smile
Send me a kiss and grace her love through
Her beating heart
Beautiful to the touch
Running wild in fields painted gold
Its not hard to believe
That’s she had a beauty
To equal the gods above
Running wild while the rain would fall
Across her skin with a passion from the heart
She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above

I only wish I could have surrendered my soul
For the darkness was cold
She could find comfort in her pain
Waiting for another storm
So she could shed her tears
Through the rain hiding her pain
She would live and she would laugh
She had eternity
And she chose to love
And let the daemons take their claim
Finding some comfort with her pain
Would be to look at the rain gracing a smile
She loved the rain

Waiting for her
