Capitalization in Titles

I normally like to follow the rules, but is it ever acceptable to break the rules and capitalize prepositions anyway for aesthetic purpose?

For example, it is in my personal beliefs that What Are You Getting At? looks so much better than What Are You Getting at? My head tells me to stick with the second version, but my heart thinks the second version is the wrong option.

Listen to your heart. My understanding of the rule is that the first and last words are capitalized no matter what they are.

Anytime. They spent years trying to teach me the rules of capitalization. Ha, that was one of the only ones that stuck.
