I have another one!
I like taking a bath with all the lights off. We have one bathroom with no windows and when all the doors are closed, not one photon of light gets in. I love it. :D

I love swimming in the ocean near Bar Harbor, Maine. The water is icy cold, but it's invigorating. It's also not very crowded, and the surf roars like thunder.

I love the experience of watching a lightening/rain/thunderstorm from a hot tub in a glass room. It's so humbling, I just don't know why.
And something that isn't so weird, hearing the heartbeat of someone who loves you.

Yay! I'm not the only one! It's like hearing an accident happen in front of your house. You know it's morbid, but there you go to see what happened, right?

I love the smell of a baby after a bath.
I love walking barefoot through wet grass.
I love the smell of honeysuckle bushes. There are 2 right outside my office window. I open the window to let the scent in, even in the hottest hours of the day.
I love to watch my children sleeping. (They are less noisy this way!!! :) )
I hate feet! Don't put your feet anywhere NEAR me! I will chop them off!

You said strange, right?
I love playing mind games with the guys who call my private number at 1 AM thinking they called a local escort service. (My number is one number different and for some reason, maybe they're drunk, they're always mis-dialing.)
I go back to sleep with a smile on my face knowing they are sitting wherever they are nervously waiting for a gal to show up who never does. :D
Once I asked the guy if he wouldn't like to come to church with me on Sunday instead of getting a call girl and he laughed and hung up on me.
How rude. ;)

I love pens. I have basically a whole basket full of new, unique, never-used pens. I end up collecting them quicker than I use them, and I always use the uglier ones first. They range from ordinary to free pens that have businesses on them or medicine names to Mickey Mouse to business-looking to the XXL pens that are thicker than a fat highliter lol.

I like to play mind games with people in trains.
1. I act like I dial a phone number, I say "Hi.", then remain silent for 5 minutes, then say "Bye." and hang up.
2. When the train stops at a station, I get out, then turn around and ask the people in the train where this train is going.
3. I greet random people like we are old friends (Īt's me, Bill! From the bar?")

I do that too.
I love spacing off and then coming back to real life and realizing you've been living in your own little world for the last 5 minutes.
I love being home alone.
I love thinking to much about things. Like watching rain and thinking about how strange it really is that there is water coming fromk the sky. Or erasing somthing and wondering where the pencil goes.
I love lying to myself in the morning by telling myself I don't have to get up YET.
I love looking at the details of the people I know. Like how Jessi works really hard when she's mad, or how Emmy's handwriting is really nooticable, or the way Kara laughs....
Theres a lot.

I like the feel of fresh sheets
The last bunch of things posted aren't that strange. Anyway, I love the way Canadian paper money feels.
I love to twitch my foot when I'm thinking. If I'm in a position inconducive to foot twitching I'll twitch my thigh or buttocks muscles.
I love putting my head to my cats’ belly, and lying there just listening to them purr.
I love cats, especially their hypnotic purring. But then my foot starts twitching and they attack me!! I know a lot of people with cats. I buy a lot of socks.

Oh, I love doing that! It makes me happy.
Hm....
Oh! I love the dark. It makes me feel so small.
Like I remember once, at camp we had a late chapel, so we all ran to our cabin and just lay outside between the trees looking at the stars...and it was so awesome.

I love snorkelling in the ocean at night. I even wrote a short story around it.
It's possible to get disoriented, but I've always been very comfortable in the water anyway. It's very quiet and peaceful at night, and you feel like you're all alone in the world, and weightless. The rise and fall of the waves is very soothing, and adds to the sense of weightlessness.
It's a very primal experience.

I love curling my toes under. My dad says it's because I'm partially Armenian, but I'll buy my shoes just slightly bigger so I can curl them wherever, whenever.
I love breaking the wooden chopsticks apart.
I love pickling things -- red onions, radishes, carrots, cucumber, peppers -- it tastes delicious.
I love putting pickled things on almost anything.

I like cash societies. Here in America, it's all about the plastic. I'd rather give myself a cash allowance to spend for the month rather than paying for everything through debit card.
And for that matter, I like paying with exact change. 47 cents? I think I got that in my pocket~
ETA: I LOVE tornado/hurricane weather right before things get started. The sky darkening, the wind still calm and just picking up, the smell of the earth 'getting ready' for the storm. That calm before the storm is one of the greatest sensations

I completely agree! I have lived in many places where storms are a major deal: Hawaii, Florida, Nebraska, Puerto Rico. I love that held breath sensation right before a big baddy storm. ;)

Also love that.
I love the feeling of having water after you've been parched for most of the day and can feel the cool sensation traveling down your throat.
I dont think anything tops that. ;)
I love sunburns. I'm cold all the time but when I'm sunburnt, my skin makes it's own heat! But I don't purposefully set out every summer to get a sunburn, it just happens anyway because I forget to reapply the sunscreen.

I was thrift-store shopping on my my birthday and found a set of pan pipes on sale for $3. They are SO awesome. I went out and bough an ocorina (can't spell...but little clay flute thing) to go with it. I am thinking about collecting old fashioned or native instruments just for fun (can't play a note).

I have this one measuring cup (1/2 cup to be specific) that I just love. It is aluminum and really old and beat up. I always use it when I make Mac and Cheese. I took the cup when I moved out of my parents house. I have no idea where they got it in the first place. I just always remember it. It is the cup I used when my dad taught me how to make Mac and Cheese, so itis special. It makes me happy every time I see it. Silly, I know.

When my cat, Sid, was still alive I used to bury my nose in the back of his neck and smell him because he smelled good.
