I'm new here and just wanted to stop in and say hello. I have been trying to write for several years and can't seem to get the hang of it. I figured I'd give this a shot and see what kind of good info I can get out of it. I love writing and think I do well for the most part. That is until I get to some part where my dialogue get's boring and I can't figure out what the characters are supposed to do next. I eventually get bored with the story and another one immidiately sparks my interest so I start over on another one.
I guess my problem is that I get bored with one story really quickly.

I'd suggest not forcing your writing so much. I get bored of many of my works, but I come back to them at a later date and I can dive back in.
