Raven you were born the year Don and I got married.
I have just had a birthday so I am 53.
My body some days feels 101.
My mind lots of times thinks like a 5 year old.
Sort of a fun way to be.
My grandson thinks of me as the silly grandma, I think that is the best thing
anyone can say about me.
So I guess my age is a silly 53.

As far as age, mammamaia and I joked privately about "priming the well" . . . for you young-uns, when you operated the old fashioned hand water pumps, you had to pour water into the mouth of the pump to "prime" it, or it wouldn't work. And, yes, I've used an outhouse before. They stink!

I may be young, but I do remember several years go ( I was about 15, 16 then) when I had to use an outhouse. We were backpacking through Cambodia during a summer and some of the houses on the outskirts of the big cities like Phnom Penh, don't have real toilets.

I remember my dad joking about having to "dig a hole in the ground" in some parts.

Only thing I didn't like about outhouses is that at night, there would always be spiders waiting. Oh, and the lack of toilet paper :/

It was embarrassing! My sister replied very meekly that I was the kid he had to tutor, and that she was a University student (telling him she was doing an entrepreneur business after two years of job would choke him!). He then looked at me with horror, as though he thought I was in elementary school. :p I agree with the pros of this, though it stinks when I go to buy a PG-13 movie and the shopkeeper tells me: 'Sorry kid, bring your mom.'

ok how come there are only like 3 14 year olds? there's a bunch of 15 year olds, but not many 14 year olds...strange. in case you can't tell i'm 14 :D As for stories about mistaken age, so many people think i'm older than i am, one woman actually thought i was in college, i was like "i'm just starting high school...." on the other hand everyone is shocked that my mom has a 14 year old daughter, they think she looks to young. She's not. :)

18. I've been told I look 16 once, but they had bad eyes from Lyme disease. :p

A fair amount of people say low-20s. Works for me. I don't get stopped for driving past midnight. Which is good because the registration for my car is buried. A cop would think I'm stashing drugs or something it'd take so long to find.

Aha, that whole scenario just screams awkward. I know how your sister felt. It can be really insulting when someone mistakes your age not by just a year or two, but by a large gap of years. Whenever I need admission into an 'R' rated movie or to buy an 'R' rated movie, I make sure to have my ID on me. I bought the movie Fight Club on DVD the other day, and was checked for ID, lol.

I love to color in coloring books. I'm 38. No shame to my game, baby! :D

We are so close to the same age Wrey and I love to color in color books, in fact, I can't pass the crayon aisle and not buy a new box...they smell awesome! I enjoy reading The Giving Tree, Good Night Moon, and The Velveteen Rabbit.
I love Viva Piñata and I have been known to out play my kids a few times.
