View Full Version : Hello From Boston

For years I've kicked and screamed against the idea that I just may be a writer. I went to college to study science, where each and every professor suggested that I major in creative writing. To me, that was like hearing, "You'll shoot your eye out, kid". Writing is poverty. I don't want to spend 50 grand to be poor.
It wasn't until I had realized that I couldn't even place a classified ad selling motorcycle parts without using creative writing. Imagine my frustration as I opened one e-mail after another thinking someone is interested in buying my item, only to read, "You should be a writer!"
Bastards. There is no God. I hate writing. I hate all of you....and I'm hungry.
I'm just kidding, of course. I am hungry, however. Looks like cold pizza again. :D

I am looking forward to reading your stories. It sounds as though you are a great writer and perhaps that is your calling. Sometimes it takes a while to realize that what you think you are good at and what you are good at are two different things.
Anyway welcome. I am new too.
I was in Boston two weeks ago.
Miss Ivy.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope your stay here was a good one, considering Boston is known to be an unfriendly place.
I should know. I'm friendly and everyone hates me. I say, "Good Morning", and they respond with, "What did you call me, pal?"

How lucky we are to have such great neighbors, huh?
By the way, what's a chocolate cookie? I'm assuming it's not actually a chocolate cookie, but I could be wrong. I often am.
That's another thing about writing. You try to call a spade a spade, yet you still have to wonder.... :)

Solon magrizos’s writing skills are that to be envied by anyone in the business. His talents range from content writing for company websites, to short fiction writing that is both entertaining and intriguing. I love to read anything Jacob writes because I know his work will always be well planned and cohesively brought together. He has the skill to make even the most mundane subject sound fascinating when he writes and is also able to communicate his ideas to any audience, whether they are academic or more general in nature.
