As new years is here for some of us - or will be in a few hours for others, what are some New Years resolutions you've come up with for yourselves?

a) NOT be sick and throwing up next new years.
b) Have a proper resolution by 08

1. Continue and finish writing my book after a three month hiatus.
2. Sign up with an agent.
3. Get published.
4. Get rich.
5. Repeat #'s 3 and 4 over and over :D

For me:

1) Write a novel. 80,000 words plus.
2) Establish an online revenue as a webmaster ($1000+/month)
3) ...be happy?

my new years resolution is to believe in myself. :)

also to improve my writing skills and get some poetry published in Australia instead of America. :)

Be happy, 2 simple words.. if only!

I suck at making and keeping them, but mine are to fly through my masters, to enjoy life for the moment I am in, worry less, play more.

Fuck resolutions.

I feel that by making a new years resolution, you're putting more pressure on yourself, and you're more likely to fail. So I don't make them.

i don't believe in 'em... imo, it's better to just do your best in all things, all the time, and not merely make a promise to do so, once a year...

I don't believe in them.
I don't Make them.

I resolve not to break my neck again this year. Once is enough for any lifetime.

Good-God, man (or woman), how did you break your neck. I thougt of a few different ways but none of them made sense; they all involved the cartoon characters from Alice in Wonderland.

I haven't made a New Year's Resolution in over 20 years. It just adds more pressure for me and like someone said, I just try to do my best each day, at whatever I'm trying to accomplish at the moment. Don't always hit the mark but darn it! I try! :)

Good luck to everyone who had made them. I'll send good vibes! :)
