Hi,
Just a quick note to introduce myself. I'm a Freelance Writer living in England but writing for a variety of publications and websites around the world.

I'm currently writing a book (non-fiction) and would welcome any thoughts or comments from any of you about what it is like to be bereaved. Have you lost a loved one and would like to share your feelings about your experiences of grief?

Hope it's ok to ask.

Kind regards

Hi, Jsay. Welcome to the WF.Org. There are a couple of poems on the poetry forum that are about bereavment (one of which is mine, hehe) that you may care to take a look at.

Hey, it's fine to ask.

Anyway, welcome to the site, and I hope you make yourself at home 'round here.

many thanks for your warm welcome. I shall check out the poetry section Mercury and look forward to reading your poem. Is there a way to search the forums for specific words ie grief, bereaved etc?

Yes, click on the 'Links' link, top right under the main banner. 'Search' is on the drop-down menu.

Bear in mind that the forum is fairly new, so your search might not turn up much yet. I'm sure, though, that there are some here who would be glad to share their thoughts with you.

I found it very moving.
