I'm going to try a short story, and I might write a couple depending on how well I do, on the Knights Templar, would anyone have a recommended place to find information? Preferably free although I know not all of free info is good. I know of wikipedia but sometimes that site isn't the best place to go. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Go to Wiki, they have a nice list of external sites to check out for the Knights.

just google for 'knights templar' and you'll find the best sites on the first page of hits...
