Wow, actually I've had something similar to that happen to me. I'd get super pissed and find out either who told me that lie or who was this person on msn. I'd then get very angry, or possibly sad. It really depended who was lying.

( it was pretty sick, we aren't friends anymore. He played it out like he had died and my friend played along with him. He had me in tears. My dad even called his parents to give his condolences and got a nice embarrassment.)
