(Right, I don't know if this has been done before but i've used to search function to find any similar threads and this idea seems unique to any others I have seen.)
The premise is simple. Imagine you are cast away onto a desert island for the rest of your life and you can only take with you:
Your 8 favourite pieces of music (i.e. singles not albums)
Your favourite book (You're already are given the complete works of Shakespeare and your relevant religious text)
One luxury item (Something that is of no use on a desert island so not a lighter or knife for example)
This is a very popular British radio programme broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in which famous guests answers these questions with the reason behind their choices showing an insight into their life. For more information visit here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_Island_Discs).
