The rules are fairly simple. A topic will be posted, and you must name something referring to said topic beginning with the letter A, or whichever letter is after the poster above you has posted. If no word can be thought of to match a letter, then it is skipped and you move on to the next. The poster that gets to letter Z or the latest alphabet letter-word they can come up with for said topic simply posts the next topic with their new entry.

I'll begin,

::Shrugs:: I'll follow whatever the rules are as long as I know them. Technically, either category would work even with the rule. Just limit it to one word characters or movies. (cartoon characters: Archie, Batman, Clifford... movies: Avatar, Bewitched, Carrie...) But I'm fine with or without the rule.

(I didn't know Stimpy's friend had a last name!)

The letter is "S"? Who to choose... not Stimpy...

(I loved the Tick!

My favorite line from a Tick episode has stuck with me:

"Surrender? I don't know the meaning of the word surrender! Well, actually, I do know the meaning of the word, I'm not an idiot. But... not in that context!")

For "U"...
There's no need to fear...

Edit: Platinum

The following is not a mineral.

Plutonium

Which is always useful in producing the 1.21 gigawatts of energy needed to operate the Flux capacitor, which makes time travel possible.
