a long time ago our mittenmaker mother color-coded all her kids so she could tell which kid was leaving mittens in the snowbanks. not only am i the redmittengirl in my big montana family, but i was also bazookagirl when we played army in the hills. i've since moved on to accountant by day, writer by night, mother 24/7.

thanks the three of you! things are good in montana for me because i like sharing nothing with nobody (a whole lot of space to have to your self). there is so much awesome poetry and stories in here, my redmitten style will take some time before it sneaks out of the corner i've placed it in. looking forward to reading your own writings!
