Who here smokes and what brand do you like to smoke.
And why do you smoke.

Who hates to smoke and hates been around smokers.
I don't smoke but my girl friend does and sometimes her breath really stinks but she says she needs them because she at times is very nervous.

She smokes Benson & Hedges

Ferrety opinions:
1. You don't go to a bar for your health. If someones smoking and you don't like it, get the hell out.

2. It's a personal choice, a civil liberty if you will. I don't tell you to shut-up when you swear, so when I smoke (Legally) leave me the hell alone.

3. If we totally ban smoking what next? Will I have to fly to Canada to call some one an ass?

4. If cigarettes cause cancer, and guns kill people, spoons and Macdonald's are responsible for the obsiety epidemic.

5. Cigarettes are taxed highly so you don't buy them. Tobacco framers are subsidized. The government is a hypocrite.

Well I have been smoking off and on for a few years now and had quit a while back.
But in the last week taken it back up again, I have had a few cigars in my time, but only on very special occassions :D.
I generally smoke PJ's.
Although when I have have less than a couple of hundred dollars left after shopping I get Holidays so that my children never have to go without.
I smoke for stress relief and also tend to smoke mostly at night as I don't sleep well and tend to get restless and a smoke eases that for me, I am easier to get along with when I smoke apparently :D

You smoke pyjamas!?? xD

I smoke and my fiance smokes too. I hate the smell of store bought cigarettes. We smoke roll ups. Usually Golden Virginia but sometimes Drum if funds are tight.

I like the smell of pipe smoke. Reminds me of my Grandad. xD

I want to smoke a cigar...

I have never smoked, but I'm the only person in my family who hasn't/doesn't. Although I'm kind of used to the smell of it, I don't particularly like it, and I hate even more the smell of the ash itself. If I see an ashtray lying around, I have to move it.

Don't get me wrong here, I admire a concerned father and a good provider, but that seems like overdoing it a bit... ;) ;) ;)

I don't smoke and I never intend to... but I will say this: Its unfair for people to think its their right to smoke, when its our right not to smoke. Its not fair to say don't go to a bar because its where people smoke... i'm sure that isn't their primary purpose :P

I smoke a bit - 4 to 5 cigarettes a day.

It's mostly boredom and slight addiction that keeps me doing it. On the other hand, there are times whena cigarette really hits the spot. i.e. Long drive, coffee in hand, music on the stereo.

I dislike the feeling of wanting a cigarette, I also dislike the hit to the wallet.

I don't think it helps me focus, but it gives me a formal chance to take a time-out regardless of whatever situation I'm in and reassess how I'm doing/where I should be going.

I don't smoke. A lot of my friends do. I think it's a disgusting habit, and I don't know why anyone would take it up in the first place. But, to each his own.

I'm not a smoker.

Last time I went to an outdoor concert for our Canada Day celebrations I left with such a horrible headache from all of the cigarette smoke.

Now I'm left debating whether I should go this year in July or just buy my own fireworks.

An outdoor concert?

Seems unlikely that you could get a headache from the cigarette smoke alone.

Over half of my family smokes and I've seen what it can do. My Dad's voice dropped nearly two octaves this last year and it hurts him to speak loud...and yet he keeps smoking. I think it smells nasty and I never intend to smoke at all.

I also think it is stupid that people start smoking because they want to look cool. Honestly, you don't.

Why do they put those labels on cigarettes? "Smoking is bad for you. Don't start." I couldn't read that from infront of the counter... D=

Has it actually stopped people smoking? :s

All you can really do while you're there is either stand and watch skateboarders attempt to do tricks in an overflooded skate park, or sit on the grass in front of the stage with everyone else.

The moral of my story is too many skateboarders always ruin the evening because I ended up with a headache from sitting cross-legged with the entire city.

Frankly, it doesn't matter. If you don't know that smoking causes cancer, you deserve it. It's bad for you ,and blah blah blah.

People know the damn risks, so stop saying that the cigarette forced its way down your throat, and killed you...

I am not a smoker. I have had cigs on occasion, maybe once every 6 months and always at some sort of bar or party. I don't have a problem with smokers or people who smoke near me. I am very grateful for some of the smoking bans on bars, because the smell of smoke can become bothersome. I have absolutley no history of cancer in my family and one set of my grandparents have smoked for over 40 years each, and they are still in fine health (as far as I can tell). I wouldn definitely advise people I know not to smoke because it can really be expensive if you become too habituated, and also of the health risks it may cause.

I have tried cigarettes and pot, and didn't enjoy it all that much, to be honest. I just couldn't picture myself being one to smoke, so I stopped. And the health risks kept me away as well.
