Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 10:59 AM

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:03 AM
Aw xD Sorry!

We can talk about... mountains!

Ever seen Mount Fuji? :o

I got to see it forreal xD I went by it in train.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:12 AM
You know you're making me jealous.

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:16 AM
I can't do anything right, can I?

Hmm. Well, I bet you've been places I could only dream of. For instance, I would love to see the actual city of New York. That would be amazing.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:29 AM
You've been doing a great job of keeping me company. Thanks again. Just got some beef stew. So what're you up to?

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:36 AM
You've been doing a great job of keeping me company. Thanks again. Just got some beef stew. So what're you up to?

Yummy, tummy happy? :p

I just got done applying some ointment on my rash. Whoot! :p

What about you? xD

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:38 AM
I don't hve any rash oitment.

LOL! No, I'm done testing for the day.

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:40 AM
Rofl :p I should have specified huh? xDD

Sweet, so you're free until you have to get off? Or are you grading? :p

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:40 AM
I'm grading and I'm free until three. Ughhh ... ate too fast.

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:45 AM
Aw! ./sends over some Peptobismal

Well that's always fun, grading that is! :p

I remember on my Freshmen final, I had /the/ coolest teacher ever. He gave us a final that was really hands on and fun. Had to do with drawing and it was just for Government! xD I got done first, and he let me sit at his desk and watch The Simpsons.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:48 AM
That sounds great. I prefer to let the students watch MythBusters.

I'm actually gonna hold off grading and just relax. Shhhhhh .... our secret.

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:50 AM
Mythbusters! Love that show :p

What's your favorite episode?

It's good to relax sometimes :p

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:53 AM
The James Bond special? The Jaws special? Hmmm ... Jaws I think.

That would be an awesome job. What do you do? I blow stuff up!

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:56 AM
xDD Yeah!

I really liked the gun one where they proved that you can save your life by going under water when you're being shot at. I thought that was the coolest thing ever :p

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 11:57 AM
I don't think there was a bad episode. Ooohh! The Chicken Gun. All time favorite!

Bick
05-05-2008, 11:59 AM
Omg yeah xDDDD

Best show /ever/, well besides Scrubs.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 12:00 PM
You can't stay depressed while Scrubs is on. Why is it I always findout how good shows are AFTER they are reruns on Comedy Central?

AwfulBigAdventure
05-05-2008, 12:07 PM
Because set television programming is a thing of the past and networks are only realizing that now.

...sigh... O Arrested Development, how I miss you.

Bick
05-05-2008, 12:08 PM
Aha, aw! Thats mostly the only way I watch them too :p I'm going to try and get all the seasons on disc though. My next few years of Christmas gifts! :p

What's your son's name?

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 12:11 PM
Why Rumpole Jr. what else?

Bick
05-05-2008, 12:13 PM
Omg, if that is really your sons name, that would be amazing :p

If I have a son. I want to name him Yoda. Just because yoda is sooooo adorable.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 12:17 PM
ROTF! Nah, his name is C.J.. He's named after me and his grandfather.

Hmm ... Yoda? I've had kids with much more eccentric names that that.

Bick
05-05-2008, 12:22 PM
Aha, tell me some! :p I have to hear them.

I like that ongoing joke in Scrubs, that Turk has the dibs on calling his son Chewbacca.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 12:24 PM
LOL! Chewbacca? Try twins named Chaschewalamaschea and Chaschewalamalea

Bick
05-05-2008, 12:26 PM
Jeeze, are you serious? That's wow. Omg xDDD

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 12:29 PM
I swear. Identical twin girls. They even dress the same. If they were in the same class, I would be completely up the river w/o a paddle.

BTW I'm out in 15 mins.

Bick
05-05-2008, 12:30 PM
Aha, I bet :p

Aw, off to home then? :p Sounds like fun!

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 12:32 PM
Nope. Faculty conference ('bout as much fun as a trip to the dentist.)

Then home. Dinner. Workout. Back online.

Tomorrow: lather, rinse, repeat.

Bick
05-05-2008, 12:36 PM
Aww! Well, it should be fun after right? :p

Bick
05-05-2008, 07:59 PM

A guy in a suit - Sexy all the time.

ChimmyBear
05-05-2008, 08:00 PM
hahaha..I agree, a guy in dress is so much sexier that anything scantly.

Bick
05-05-2008, 08:01 PM
We like our men to look good, not like hookers :p

ChimmyBear
05-05-2008, 08:03 PM

Bick
05-05-2008, 08:06 PM

ChimmyBear
05-05-2008, 08:45 PM
Robert Browning has a great deal of spiritual undertones to his writing and poetry..but there is a lot of romance too. Many of his poems were written to his wife Elizabeth Barrett Browning..she was a poet as well, and hers are very good too. They have a wonderful love story.

My favorite poem by him is, A Woman's Last Word.

Rumpole40k
05-05-2008, 08:46 PM
*Running and slurping coffee* Someone distract Torana!

Rumpole40k
05-06-2008, 07:43 AM
Yea like I'm that easy t get rid of.

Cogito
05-06-2008, 07:46 AM
And the pyroclastic shock wave expanded outward from the neighborhood, instantly vaporizing everything in its path.

Thirty miles away, atop Crandall's peak, Welles lowered the binoculars and watched the billowing cloud roiling skyward into the familiar toadstool shape. He sat heavily on the ground and wept as he waited for death.

Rumpole40k
05-06-2008, 07:47 AM
O.K. how come Cog can say more in a post than can in three paragraphs?

Torana
05-06-2008, 07:48 AM

Cogito
05-06-2008, 07:55 AM
And now she will diabolically raise the price and restrict the supply. She smiles, wickedly. She has you just where she wants you.

Torana
05-06-2008, 07:55 AM
LMAO Cogito you know me far toooo well! <smiles innocently>

Rumpole40k
05-06-2008, 08:38 AM

Torana
05-06-2008, 08:58 AM
Nah it is now 10;57 pm actually. And I can't sleep cause I have to get my hair cut tomorrow and I'm terrified of hair dressers and getting my hair cut MAJORLY! Almost as bad as clowns!

Rumpole40k
05-06-2008, 09:01 AM
What is the deal with clown fears? You're the fifth person I know with that one. (So says the guy that gets wobbly on a high ladder. LOL!)

Torana
05-06-2008, 09:06 AM
I had a nasty scare when I was younger. I hit my head badly and had a concussion. It was a really horrid thing that my friend had done.

I am working at over coming it though as my loaf...erm...pie...erm...he loves clowns.

But I can't be in the same building as them. I did not long ago. Was in a room with one, but a friend tormented me and now pictures make me cry and hypervetilate again. So back to square one.

It is a very common fobia though. Called Coulrophobia.

Rumpole40k
05-06-2008, 09:10 AM
Like I said, I can deal with bar fights, car crashes, even having to go into surgery, but heights not happening. So I'm no one to talk.

Torana
05-06-2008, 09:11 AM
LOL you should see me with spiders lol

His eyelids sprang open with a nearly audible snap, and the pastel colors of the diner sharpened into screaming brilliance.

No. Bill Gates has not considered the Latin community in his master plan for world domination. I do have a Cyrilic keyboard, though. I was a Russian interpreter in the Air Force. I didn't snag the k/b from Uncle Sam (just in case they are listening in) I got it off of ebay.

When I want to write in Spanish, I go to Word first and then copy/paste. I have my Word set up to correct for Spanish and put in the appropriate accents and tildes and the like.
