Torana 05-08-2008, 11:10 PM you have to use the fam cause it's got fargy farg!
And Mase has a really lovely teacher. She is really helpful and understanding with Mase and it is fabulous.
FoxyMomma 05-08-2008, 11:14 PM I LOVED Cam's teacher for kindergarten. She was the bestest teacher ever. This year, his teacher told me that he is a distraction to the rest of the class and she has to pass him no matter what (he's in special ed, but in a regular class) so it doesn't matter if he learns the material. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Torana 05-08-2008, 11:16 PM I'd of smacked her in the mouth for that. Seriously I don't take kindly to people saying negative things about my children. I had a friend say something quiet harsh about my children and I broke her nose...........
I am going to sign out now. I've got stuff to fdo and need to finish this review.
Have fun everyone.
Gone Wishing 05-08-2008, 11:20 PM Ack - horror teachers... I had one tell me that she just didn't like my son and picked on him on purpose. I complained formally to the principal but was ignored.
Bye, Torana! Have a good day - hink in moderation. :)
FoxyMomma 05-08-2008, 11:25 PM She and the principle and I had a very long, very heated chat after that. I refuse to speak to her unless I really have to. I'm insisting on meeting all the second grade teachers for next year. I have to make sure he will get someone who will nuture him instead of ignore him.
Ack :( Poor Foxy! ./hugs Sorry you have to deal with those nutters.
I'm stuck up all night making this damned avatar xD It better work or none of this will be worth it!
Torana 05-09-2008, 06:05 AM My kids are so much braver than me :(
Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 07:28 AM All kids are braver.
Morning Torana. Hrum ... I think my hooky day spoiled me.
Off to work.
ChimmyBear 05-09-2008, 07:34 AM Greetings Earthlings!!!

Cogito 05-09-2008, 07:39 AM Earthlings? Assumption unwarranted...

Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 08:25 AM After a grueling 10 mins of work, I am back.

Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 08:29 AM Hrum ... hiding Chimmy's fan.
ChimmyBear 05-09-2008, 08:31 AM That's cruel...I think you know why...LOL!!
Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 08:41 AM Snap! Any better?
Cogito 05-09-2008, 08:43 AM You going to continue to sit on her in the chair?
Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 08:45 AM Of course not. We switched minutes ago. LOL!
Morning Cog.

Cogito 05-09-2008, 08:53 AM Good morning Bick :)
Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 08:54 AM IT IS FRIDAY!!!! (Yea, just a little excited.)
Hehe silly Rumo! :p
How're you all this fine morning?
Torana 05-09-2008, 09:06 AM I'm back :p for a little while :D
Yay! Now the forum is much brighter.
./hugs!
Torana 05-09-2008, 09:10 AM lol Bick you made me blush ^ ^
and I posted my latest poem up and made changes and I am so happy with it too
YAY ME!
:D I'll have to read it, I'm bad at reviewing though. I bet it's the bestest ever, you're an amazing poet.
Torana 05-09-2008, 09:16 AM awwwwwww shucks Bick thank you
ChimmyBear 05-09-2008, 09:22 AM I was just sucked into the twilight zone...lights went out...aggghhhh!!!
Wreybies 05-09-2008, 09:24 AM OMG ! ! !
I thought the lady crying was bad. The dude from New Deli was rediculous. I feel for any poor person who has to call that guy to get tech support for their internet.
I kept telling him that I could not hear his Spanish speaking cutomer and the converstation went like this:
Have you asked the customer of they have dial up or high speed access?
Yes, and again sir, I cannot hear your customer at all. I get no response.
Have you asked the customer of they have dial up or high speed access?
Yes, and again sir, I cannot hear your customer at all. I get no response.
Have you asked the customer of they have dial up or high speed access?
Yes, and again sir, I cannot hear your customer at all. I get no response.
Have you asked the customer of they have dial up or high speed access?
Sir, I am concerned that we have a miscommunication. I have no idea if your customer is even on the line at this time. I hear nothing. I can hear YOU very well, but I cannot hear a third party on the line.
So you are telling me the customer cannot hear you?
No, I am telling you I think that there is no one else but you and I on the line!
So, they cannot hear you?
Sir, one more time, I can neither answer in the affirmative or in the negative because I have no idea what your customer can or cannot hear because I have yet to hear word one from your customer.
Please ask the customer if they have high speed or dial up.
And there was like TEN MORE MINUTES OF THIS ! ! ! ! !
ChimmyBear 05-09-2008, 09:27 AM Wrey, good luck with that...LOL!
I have zero patience for such things...*choking myself as we speak*....LOL!
Wreybies 05-09-2008, 09:44 AM Wrey, good luck with that...LOL!
I have zero patience for such things...*choking myself as we speak*....LOL!
Nor do I :(
Do companies really think that they are going to garner customer loyalty by farming out their customer service to the ends of the earth?
I know, I know, that sounds so racist, right? And, please, God forgive me, because I hate the sound of these words coming from my mouth. But if companies who opperate primarily in English are going to send their customer service call centers out of the country, they should pick countries where English is the primary language and not take advantage of poor developing nations where English is not spoken just because they can then pay the employees three cents and five beans an hour!
*my soapbox is a little wobbly, does anyone have a hammer?*
Rumpole40k 05-09-2008, 10:03 AM Oh God Wrey, my sides are hurting from the laughter. I can just picture that.
Cogito 05-09-2008, 10:11 AM If the job requires effective communication with customers, than the ability to supply that communication must be a criterion of acceptance for the outsourced work. That means random calls posing as customers to ensure that quality is delivered.
Unless, of course, customer service is only being given lip service to appease stockholders or for a marketing point.
Too many company execs don't look past a year down the line. Why should they, when that is the typical turnover rate for their positions?
Cogito 05-09-2008, 10:28 AM Someone should pen a story about an outsourced 911 call center (police/fire/medical emergency, for those outside the USA).
Wreybies 05-09-2008, 10:48 AM Someone should pen a story about an outsourced 911 call center (police/fire/medical emergency, for those outside the USA).
I am SOooo already on top of that! :D
Great minds think alike!
Cogito 05-09-2008, 01:40 PM Social satire - A Modest Proposal - Jonathan Swift
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:15 AM Time and time again, an elastic dance of cause rippling to effect. But what happens when the filaments of time snarl and tangle. Does the fabric of reality itself begin to rip?
Teehee, Cog is so deep.
Hey there :p
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:20 AM The flux of time resonates in an arc that comes full circle but never actually meets the starting point. The question is, are the concentric circles leading inwards, or outwards?
:p
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:25 AM The measurement of temporal arc radius is not fixed, but depends on the reference path.
My earlier post was an attempt to seed some ideas for a time travel story, but it seemed to dead end for me - for now anyway...
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:27 AM My post came from a blog I made a while back... ;) I was actually at the time talking about the importance and value of memory, and the hold it can have on people... lol
:p
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:33 AM Laughing - I love it.
It actually fits well in both contexts
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 11:39 AM I think I just sprained my brain reading that.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:39 AM :)
Ambiguity (or is that ambidextrous?) is my middle name... ;)
Aw! ./gives you a brain splint
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:42 AM mine's Edward. Can't stand it :D
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:44 AM lol... Well my real middle name is
I'll never tell :p
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 11:46 AM Martin
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:51 AM What is the rate of time propagation? If you cause a change twenty yeras in your past, how long does it take for the consequences to ripple back to your present. That woud help define the elastic conefficient for time, and in turn the energy requirements to perturb events in time.
Chika :p Lamest middle name ever.
how's everyone today?
Iulia 05-10-2008, 11:56 AM quite good, though it's about 90 degrees and I've gotta plant these flowers. you?
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 12:00 PM What is the rate of time propagation? If you cause a change twenty yeras in your past, how long does it take for the consequences to ripple back to your present. That woud help define the elastic conefficient for time, and in turn the energy requirements to perturb events in time.
The answer is already known - has become inherent by the future already existing. ;)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 12:10 PM No, not by the time model I'm playing with. Future events that depend on the outcome of random current events (quantum probability)vcan change if the balance shifts in the present, but the rate at which the change propagates forward is not infinite - sort of an inertial effect.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 12:12 PM From a story perspective, it might give a character a certain amount of time to correct a time disruption that erases the present, before the character is erased along with his world.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 12:23 PM No, not by the time model I'm playing with. Future events that depend on the outcome of random current events (quantum probability)vcan change if the balance shifts in the present, but the rate at which the change propagates forward is not infinite - sort of an inertial effect.
*thinks deeply*
Ok... So I grasp the concept - just, lol - it took me a minute.
Now I'm gonna be stuck with serious thoughts all night. :p
<i.e. no solution except for more coffee :)>
Cogito 05-10-2008, 01:00 PM You know how it is - writing it down for someone else sometimes makes it clearer in your own head. Thinking of it in story terms gave me the idea of using it to set a fixed time limit for repairing a broken timeline. Not sure yet where THAT will take me, but it's a start.
That's the REAL beauty of the Word Games. :)
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 01:16 PM I have the opposite problem.
I have this idea for a story - and I was really inspired by it until I wrote a brief summary of it and posted on a different forum (non-writing related site, in point of fact, but just as an exercise).
Now I can't expand on it.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 01:19 PM What is limiting its expansion?
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 01:27 PM Short answer: Me, :p
Convoluted answer: The three characters the story will revolve around are tricksy and resisting further development. (I have the story in a nutshell, but the nutshell is kind of pistachio sized and I want it to be at least walnut sized... ;))
Cogito 05-10-2008, 01:46 PM Add another conflict and stir well?
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 01:53 PM lol.. It's not that really - more a case of I know what I want to happen, but not how.
Plus, I'm procrastinating on getting it started because I usually have the characters fully developed before I begin - they're always my starting point and then I follow their logic in how the plot and themes develop - if that makes sense.
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 02:05 PM How go the papers Cog?
Cogito 05-10-2008, 02:05 PM It does. But starting with a vaguely defined character can be fun too - watch him/her morph before your eyes :)
I saw that happen with a character I threw together for an RPG; ended up passing the character along to the RPG creator for his book.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 02:06 PM Hola Rumpole. Paper's coming along -taking a rest right now.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 02:10 PM Hmmm... :)
I have a starting point, so I guess I should...
Just do it. :p
Wreybies 05-10-2008, 07:31 PM Have you noticed that orange is the new black?
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 07:32 PM Nope Wrey, I'm a NY'er gray is like pastels to us.
Wreybies 05-10-2008, 07:34 PM Nope Wrey, I'm a NY'er gray is like pastels to us.
LOL! :D
Where in NY? My dad's family is all in Beacon.
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 07:35 PM Brooklyn. Never heard of Beacon.
Cobra517 05-10-2008, 08:35 PM Brooklyn starts with B.
Beer starts with B. And I'm drinking a beer right now.
So CHEERS!
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 08:36 PM Cheers. Watching Raiders of the lost Ark. Slow Night.
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 08:42 PM *raises bottle of Michelob Ultra*...Cheers!!!...:)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 08:57 PM Pilsener Urquell for me. <clink>
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 09:17 PM Why, Hello Cog!!!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 09:20 PM Heya Chimmy :)
How goes the evening?
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 09:21 PM Coopers. Pale Ale.

hahaha....Laughing my @ss off!!!...:D
Cogito 05-10-2008, 09:24 PM That come in an oilcan?
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 09:26 PM
No. Don't knock my beer. Or.... Well, I won't actually do anything since you're a mod. Except get all put out, maybe a little grumpy.
:p
Rumpole40k 05-10-2008, 09:29 PM Actually Cog Cooper's is damn good.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 09:34 PM I meant it affectionately, like the Foster cans that gave Oilcan Boyd his name.
Had to leave to get the dishwasher started. But now the dishwasher is back at the computer :)
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 09:38 PM Hmmmm.... Ok.
Except beer is only acceptable from a stubbie - or glass - lol. I hate it from a can. :p
Cogito 05-10-2008, 09:43 PM I prefer glass too, but I make an occasional exception for those big cans. There's something about just holding a frost-covered can and tossing it back. Those first few gulps go down so nicely, and that spreading chill!
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 09:46 PM Oh, if you can drink it fast enough, it's not too bad - but if you're nursing one for more than about ten minutes, it gets flat - then I can't drink it.
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 09:46 PM I can't stand beer. I won't touch it.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 09:53 PM Oh, if you can drink it fast enough, it's not too bad - but if you're nursing one for more than about ten minutes, it gets flat - then I can't drink it.
Agreed, but I also have beer goblets I keep in the freezer, and also have a gew covered steins that I also pre-chill. Not that I ever let it get warm or flat anyway.
I make an exception for Guinness Stout. That actually tastes best just below room temperature. Too cold, and all that comes through is the bitter character.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 09:55 PM I've never tried Guiness - always wanted to, though - I tend to think I wouldn't like it because I don't like stouts as much as lagers and such - but I'd still like to try it. :)
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 09:59 PM ~Blue Moon, served in a cold glass with a slice of orange...I love it!!! mmmm..:)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:01 PM Blue moon beer or the mixed drink?
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 10:02 PM Blue moon beer or the mixed drink?
The Beer...is there a mixed drink? Do tell the Chimmy.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:04 PM Had to google it, wasn't familar with either. The mixed drink has Blue Curacao as an ingredient, and also is apparently garnished with an orange slice
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 10:06 PM Okay, I will have to try that one out...but I still love my Blue Moon beer. I was hooked last year..a bar tender in South Jersey recommended it to me and I love it.
Thanks Cog!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:19 PM Sam Adams Cherry Wheat Ale makes a nice change of pace. It's the only fruited brew I'll touch.
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 10:23 PM Ohh...now Chimmy is intrigued. That sounds really good, Cog. I will definitely have to try it.
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 10:23 PM I need a good marinade for steaks....anyone have any good recipes?
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 10:26 PM Cherry + beer? Damn - my two favourite food groups. :D
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 10:28 PM Yeah Mack...kinda too good to be true..:)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:32 PM 'tis a fine refresher, just enough cherry aroma.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 10:35 PM Simple marinade for steaks - olive oil, garlic and lemon juice.
Beyond that I use teriyaki sauce + seeded mustard for some, pepper steak is also good.
I don't have too many recipes for marinades as such...
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 10:35 PM I'll brb. I'm off to go get a green chile cheese burger. Mmmm!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:37 PM Good, but even better with coarse black pepper :)
<actually I meant the steak marinade, but true for the burger too - yum!>
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 10:39 PM Absolutely - my pepper grinder is my best friend (in the kitchen :p).
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 10:39 PM Okay Cog...you seem to know a lot about beer and food...I like that in a set of eyes.
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:45 PM Cooking is one of my hobbies

Beer - well beer is beer :) (Although I have homebrewed, but not in a while)
No way...really?...The beer I mean...Now that's interesting. I didn't think anybody really did that.
Oh God, obviously I don't get out much!! LOL!
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 10:52 PM Home brew is awesome! If you get it right.... :p
Cogito 05-10-2008, 10:54 PM I don't get out much either - that's why I have so many freaking hobbies :D
Still, I have lots and lots of fun.
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 10:57 PM mmmm...spicy cheeseburger!!!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:00 PM With pepperjack?
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:02 PM nope, green chile!
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 11:02 PM Right on cue Foxy!!!
Mack I am not surprised that you would know this, my friend!!! ;)
That's what it's all about, Cog...we gotta have some fun...LOL
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:04 PM Hi Chimmy Chim Chim
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:05 PM Mack I am not surprised that you would know this, my friend!!! ;)
Used to have a friend with a shop called "Pub Stuff", they sold all sorts of home brewing goodies. :)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:07 PM Life's too short not to make the most of it.
Cobra517 05-10-2008, 11:09 PM Amen to that, brother.
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 11:13 PM Hey Cobra!!!
Your right, Cog..a lesson I am currently putting into practice!!
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:14 PM -belch- goooooood burger!
Cobra517 05-10-2008, 11:17 PM Hey Cobra!!!
Your right, Cog..a lesson I am currently putting into practice!!
Hey Chimmy! How are you doing?
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:17 PM ...and now, I will have some strawberries and hot fudge! Mmmm!!! I bought a 4 lb bucket of berries today!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:18 PM Dodging the burst of flame that issues from between Foxy's lips
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:19 PM Chimmy - always good to hear :)
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 11:20 PM Hey Chimmy! How are you doing?
I am doing pretty good! How about yourself?
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:23 PM No flame! I promise!
But I am dissappointed with these berries. They were picked too soon and aren't red all the way through...
ChimmyBear 05-10-2008, 11:32 PM Oh you guys are much too fun but, I have a party to host tomorrow and I need my sleep.
So Good nights are in order!
Cog, I enjoyed hearing about the beer and your thoughtfulness in Googling that Blue Moon Cocktail is very much appreciated..;)
Cobra, I hope I get the chance to play some games with you here on the threads!
Mack, we have to have a chat soon!
Foxy....good night and don't eat too much, remember tomorrow!!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:33 PM No flame? <pout> Guess you need hotter chilies than those chopped Anaheims...
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:33 PM Good night Chimmy, and Happy Mother's Day
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:33 PM Oh yeah!!! Just got the scores for my writing challenge entry - didn't win, but someone actually said I changed the way they think about writing. :D
Night Chim!!! Definitely chat soon :)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:36 PM Everyone wins who enters. The votes are just the gravy
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:37 PM No flame? <pout> Guess you need hotter chilies than those chopped Anaheims...
No crummy Anaheims in NM!!! All we eat is Hatch! Mmmm! Nice and hot!
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:39 PM Never had hatch - please describe (shape, color, heat)
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:40 PM Everyone wins who enters. The votes are just the gravy
Lol, I don't really enter to win - but placing fifth out of 25 is still gratifying. :p

Diced serranos are good in burgers too.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:47 PM Congrats GW on the 5th! I have yet to enter any contests. I'm still very unsure of my writing.
Thanks! :)
(It's actually something I'm trying to work on - being shy with my writing - so I figured it was a good way to get used to putting it out there. ;)
Cogito 05-10-2008, 11:47 PM Wishing, that must be on "the other" site. Don't think we've ever had 25 entries for a challenge
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:47 PM My aunt lived in Malaysia for nearly 2 years and my mom would ship her cases of canned Hatch chile. She craved them so badly while she was there.
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:48 PM I'm attempting a story for the consequences challenge, but I don't know if I can achieve the word limit. 4000 words is more than I've ever done for a story.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:51 PM Wishing, that must be on "the other" site. Don't think we've ever had 25 entries for a challenge
:p lol
I think "they" were surprised, too.
FoxyMomma 05-10-2008, 11:53 PM I posted a story here a few weeks back and it only has 3 reviews, so I'm still not quite sure if what I'm writing is good or not. It's made me very hesitant to write much more and actually post it.
Cobra517 05-10-2008, 11:53 PM I am doing pretty good! How about yourself?
I'm okay. Not really doing too good, but not too bad either. I'm just somewhere in the middle.
Cobra517 05-10-2008, 11:57 PM I posted a story here a few weeks back and it only has 3 reviews, so I'm still not quite sure if what I'm writing is good or not. It's made me very hesitant to write much more and actually post it.
Where is your story? I'll read and critique it for you if you want.
Gone Wishing 05-10-2008, 11:58 PM I haven't reviewed anything yet - I actually find that more intimidating than posting my work.
I've been meaning to, though - so I can start with yours, if you would like. ;)

Thanks - it might be a few hours before my review will appear - I usually take a bit of time when I do critique, and I'll be signing off shortly. :)
FoxyMomma 05-11-2008, 12:04 AM That's fine. I can wait! I'm heading out in a bit too. I'm sleeeeeepy!
Cobra517 05-11-2008, 12:06 AM I know, I know, my opinion isn't worth much. I'm new, I haven't posted one story for review yet, and all I like to do is play word games...but seriously, if you want an honest opinion I'll give it to you. And I'll tell you where you might be able to improve...
FoxyMomma 05-11-2008, 12:09 AM Cobra, I'll take advice from anyone willing to hand it out. Thank you for taking the time! The link is up there ^^^!

Hey to Chim and Rumpole, :D
Aww :p Well glad to hear all the same! ./hugs to all three of you
My day was looong. It rained and stormed the entire day  and my mother was only here until 9am. D: So I couldn't do much for her.
Gone Wishing 05-11-2008, 08:31 PM I love storms! :D
Storms are nice when they are at night, not all day :p I don't go out in storms! So, I was stuck inside all day.
Gone Wishing 05-11-2008, 08:34 PM Yeah, that kinda sucks. I'm very much a winter person, though. :)
Gone Wishing 05-11-2008, 08:44 PM Actually, I've never seen real snow! :(

I will never go out in it unless I must. It's just icky and wet and cold and ew!
Gone Wishing 05-11-2008, 09:02 PM Heh, I've heard that snow isn't as pleasant as it looks.... But I don't care! :D
We have a place here that's got a fake snow slope for skiing, but I could only successfully toboggan... :p
Wreybies 05-11-2008, 09:03 PM I like snow!
Gone Wishing 05-11-2008, 09:08 PM w00t!! Someone make a snow angel for me. ;)
Iulia 05-11-2008, 09:10 PM I love snow, but I can understand how it'd get old. It hardly ever snows here, and two inches is a "big snow" for us.
You /all/ can have our snow :p We get it all through the winter, and usually a small snow is about 4-5 inches xD We almost got above a foot this winter at one time.
Love the new avatar, btw Iulia.
Iulia 05-11-2008, 09:14 PM Thanks! :D I love the macro lense on my camera and kinda went crazy taking pictures close up of flowers and eyes and such.
hehe sounds like fun :p

Cogito 05-12-2008, 02:44 PM Indeed- you will have to clean up all the little blue pellets they leave behind, too.
Gone Wishing 05-12-2008, 02:54 PM Ack! Lucky for me I have minions for that kind of task. ;)
Cogito 05-12-2008, 03:22 PM Pac Men?
FoxyMomma 05-12-2008, 06:33 PM <~~home from urgent care with a much hurtier booboo!
I have an infection in the nail bed of my pointer on my right hand. They put 3 shots of lidocaine in my finger tip, then wedged scissors between the nail and my skin and then SQUEEZED THE HELL OUTTA MY FINGER! It hurts soooo bad and they didn't give me any pain medicine.
-cries-
=((( ./hugs!
Poor Foxy :(
Gone Wishing 05-12-2008, 06:50 PM Cogito - Pac Men don't make the cut for my minions - the digital age needs to advance just a little more before they're ready for my line of work. ;)
Foxy - sorry about your finger... :( I did a review for you though - hopefully you can find something of use in it. :)
FoxyMomma 05-12-2008, 08:04 PM Thank you GW. I'll go check it out in a minute.
