View Full Version : First thing that comes to your head Bick 07-11-2007, 01:10 PM :o Oh noez, broken mics. goodtik 07-11-2007, 01:11 PM yup, harry is coming back soon. it is sad that antioch college closed its doors. Penned Down 07-11-2007, 01:43 PM Maybe it will be back like Harry adamant 07-11-2007, 01:46 PM Or maybe both will be destroyed by dark magic? You never know... Banzai 07-11-2007, 01:49 PM Witch! adamant 07-11-2007, 01:50 PM Uh. Wizard. Notice that I have a pointy symbol of Ares. goodtik 07-11-2007, 01:56 PM do ants need wands? Bick 07-11-2007, 03:04 PM could they even hold it? Cogito 07-11-2007, 05:03 PM She also said Dumbledore was really dead didn't she? Don't know - if she did, I never heard it. Of course, if my theory is correct, his BODY is dead. goodtik 07-11-2007, 06:14 PM well, after all, all you have to do is look over in the corner of the headmaster's office, and you will see the dusty old picture of Dumbledore snoozing happily which hangs on the wall. Cogito 07-11-2007, 06:52 PM I doubt Dumbledore would have overlooked that little detail in setting up the plan. goodtik 07-11-2007, 07:08 PM god only knows what she was thinking when she killed him off. I'll bet she regrets it. there were no new stories about her in the british news today... odd. Bick 07-11-2007, 09:15 PM Ok. So I have mixed feelings about the movie but I think it was pretty good. They changed some stuff, left stuff out. It is a movie you had to keep watching w/o a pause, which is hard for me but I liked it. When the Deatheaters and the Order fought, it was beyond awesome :p Banzai 07-12-2007, 01:45 AM So you've seen the film, Bick? How did it compare to the book? Because I really wasn't too keen on the fifth book. I thought it just reiterated the previous four too much, and there wasn't enough new stuff. That said, the Dumbledore-Voldemort duel was (almost) worth reading through the rest of it. I can't wait to see that bit in the film. adamant 07-12-2007, 04:30 AM I don't know, I liked the fifth one the most probably. There was just so much emotion in it. Not to mention the fact that it was the longest, and thusly keep me occupied most. Okay, has anyone ever seen a bug in their house (or on a television, etc) and then felt something and started freaking out? I saw a spider a little earlier, and now I'm ferociously brushing off my leg whenever the ends of my jeans touch me. Quite annoying really. Banzai 07-12-2007, 04:40 AM Yes. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. And I hate that. Penned Down 07-12-2007, 07:39 AM I liked the fifth book a lot and I feel that they cut some of the better parts out for the movie, yet I've grown used to this by now. Visually it was great though and I'm looking forward to the next installment. I get the bug feeling when I watch shows on ant colonies. Banzai 07-12-2007, 07:40 AM I am the walrus Goo goo g'joob Penned Down 07-12-2007, 09:16 AM $10 billion a month to fund the death parade of a mad man Banzai 07-12-2007, 09:46 AM I am he, and he is me, and we are altogether. goodtik 07-12-2007, 10:10 AM I am the walrus hoooo Penned Down 07-12-2007, 11:11 AM All this open space and not a word in sight to put his mind at ease. Bick 07-13-2007, 08:45 PM I've been wearing my night gown all day, sick again. It like took a pause for a few days and came back. I have to babysit tomorrow. Meaning I won't be much fun... adamant 07-13-2007, 09:13 PM You take vitamins or anything? Bick 07-13-2007, 09:31 PM That's not a bad idea, I usually neglect to take them =P Torana 07-14-2007, 06:27 AM oogity boogity! Bick 07-14-2007, 06:37 AM Omg. Bick 07-14-2007, 11:37 AM Wow. (No idea. That's all that came to mind.) Edward 07-14-2007, 08:16 PM Dr. A: You're going to die in seven days Dr. B: You're healthy as a Clydesdale Dr. A: A Clydesdale that's going to die... DR. B: no, one that'll live to 130! Me: how will I escape from this crazy pair-o-docs? Banzai 07-15-2007, 03:06 PM Wow. That's awful on the same level as Cogito's jokes. Cogito 07-15-2007, 03:09 PM Jealousy is unbecoming :D Banzai 07-15-2007, 03:12 PM ...so's your face :p (Ah, Scrubs, the source of all my knowledge :p) Cogito 07-15-2007, 03:24 PM I know you are, but what am I? Cogito 07-15-2007, 04:48 PM Neil Gaiman adamant 07-15-2007, 05:00 PM Nice, I wasn't even thinking about that one. As long as we're on comic books have you ever read 'The Dark Knight Returns'? Cogito 07-15-2007, 05:20 PM Afraid not. But I have read about 90% of all The Flash comics, starting with Mystery of the Human Thunderbolt (but that was so long ago, I'm fuzzy on the details) Penned Down 07-16-2007, 08:55 AM With Monday upon him the lemmings leader lined his cogs precisely, starting his machine in search of the paper god for the week. Cogito 07-16-2007, 09:18 AM One of us has not had enough coffee yet this morning. Penned Down 07-16-2007, 09:23 AM ha ha I actually have, that was just the first thing to come to my mind. Bick 07-16-2007, 09:23 AM -sends over some coffee- I've had about 4 cups, so I'm in a half decent mood. Penned Down 07-16-2007, 09:25 AM :) thanks for the coffee. sounds like you're on your way to a speedy day. Cogito 07-16-2007, 09:25 AM Making sure I don't stand between Bick and the bathroom. Bick 07-16-2007, 09:43 AM Hrm. I my hands and legs look like I walked through a mile of thorned bushes. My kitten seems to like to play roughly. Cogito 07-16-2007, 09:58 AM cat scratch fever Banzai 07-16-2007, 12:04 PM I'm allergic to cats :( It's sucky. Penned Down 07-16-2007, 12:18 PM sucky - a word I haven't heard in years Banzai 07-16-2007, 12:23 PM Yeah, but it's kinda cool. Like funky. Cogito 07-16-2007, 12:36 PM Sucky funky drunken monkey on your back, junkie. That's why they call it kid, dope. Penned Down 07-16-2007, 01:22 PM sit the pipe down and back away slowly :) Banzai 07-16-2007, 02:44 PM With your hands where we can see them :) Bick 07-16-2007, 04:18 PM Apple. adamant 07-16-2007, 04:41 PM The DiVinci Code (I cracked that one so easily...) Do you ever fully smile or is that just your way of telling me to go away? Bick 07-17-2007, 07:46 AM Hrm. How's everyone this fine morning? Cogito 07-17-2007, 07:49 AM I'm fine this morning, but reluctant to come fully awake. Just one of those mornings :) Bick 07-17-2007, 07:51 AM -sends over some coffee- Just brewed it :p I slept 11 hours D= Stupid shots they gave me to numb my mouth make me tired.(they had to do 4 shots instead of 2 to numb that portion of my mouth.) Fell into a dead sleep around 7 and woke up around 6am this morning! I hate oversleeping. Banzai 07-17-2007, 07:56 AM Hehe. I woke up at 9 today :D Which would probably be better had I not stayed up til 1 in the morning. Cogito 07-17-2007, 07:57 AM Yes, and the Novocaine does get into your system too. I hate the feeling, but can't handle dental work without it. Bick 07-17-2007, 07:59 AM Yeah :p It's impossible w/o the shots, unless you have that gas. I get giggly when they give me the gas. My mum had me convinced I was a mouse once. (The mask helped with appearance :p) Penned Down 07-17-2007, 10:18 AM Giggly gassed mice skittering to cheese mirages Banzai 07-17-2007, 10:30 AM Cheeeeeese! goodtik 07-17-2007, 10:33 AM cramps and trots ouch! Cogito 07-17-2007, 12:50 PM Maybe, but I'm not going near that bathroom for at least an hour! Penned Down 07-17-2007, 01:22 PM poo is the hot topic of the day. Bick 07-17-2007, 01:27 PM Hm, well I'd be concerned if it was cold. Penned Down 07-17-2007, 01:33 PM are we talking zombie poo?? that's one horde I'd definitely avoid Bick 07-17-2007, 01:36 PM You wouldn't think they'd have the ability, would you? Penned Down 07-17-2007, 01:48 PM No they would loose control of their bowels so it would either be in their grave or in their pants lol :) ok ok enough poo where are the seagulls? Bick 07-17-2007, 02:03 PM Somewhere near the sea, no where near me. How sad :( Cogito 07-17-2007, 02:10 PM Seagulls is a topic away from poo? Not if you know seagulls! Penned Down 07-17-2007, 02:23 PM lol I was thinking about that after I typed that up. how about tupperware containers? that shouldn't be linked to poo in any way, if it is I don't want to know why haha Banzai 07-17-2007, 02:59 PM You could keep poo in them? Bick 07-17-2007, 05:57 PM What kind of freak are you Banzai?!?!?! Noo, :p I didn't mean that -big hugs for you- Cogito 07-17-2007, 08:12 PM You can't keep poo or anything else in a seagull - it ALL comes out as soupy poo. Bick 07-17-2007, 10:04 PM iPod. I like that topic better :p Anyways, I'm off to bed. Night folks. Though.. Bick 07-17-2007, 10:13 PM ROFL :p Thanks for the nice giggle. (was bad and didn't go to sleep like she needs to) Okok, night for real. Rutabaga? Sounds like a root. Cogito 07-17-2007, 10:20 PM It is. The rutabaga is a member of the turnip family, and has a funny name, especially if you roll the R. Rutabagas! And kumquats! Edward 07-18-2007, 01:59 AM all I can think of is pickle relish... I hate that stuff... Honey mustard is great, but the regular kind sucks, too spicy, tart I guess...? don't know I try to stay away from it. Penned Down 07-18-2007, 07:34 AM A stream of honey mustard leading to serenity. Cogito 07-18-2007, 07:45 AM Serenity left a mess behind her as she returned to her room with her midnight snack. Penned Down 07-18-2007, 08:27 AM A mound of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and honey mustard, what Serenity considered a snack some would say was a meal. She'd never been able to control her urge to eat, spending hours in front of the refrigerator and the remainder in front of the TV, watching how the rest of the world functioned. SeaBreeze 07-18-2007, 08:58 AM Sounds like me. Bick 07-18-2007, 09:00 AM -hugsquish- morning everyone :D SeaBreeze 07-18-2007, 09:01 AM Erk! Evening! If the latter, I probably don't want pocket lint in my bread, so I think I would politely decline, were it offered to me. If the former, Cheers! Penned Down 07-20-2007, 11:32 AM Friday - a time to celebrate with beers and cheers. Bick 07-20-2007, 11:36 AM Friday- The day the 7th HP book comes out :p Really excited. Cogito 07-20-2007, 11:57 AM Friday, a week dribbles to a close, but the weekend holds promise. Meanwhile, there is still plenty of this day left to enjoy. Bick 07-20-2007, 12:13 PM Though I am wasting the day away inside due to baking and then going over to my friends house with that cake to play Wii for about 8 hours, until I have to go home to get ready to go to Walmart at midnight in which I will call my friend about 11 as she taunts me because she has the book already and is an hour ahead of me! I already have Torana dealing with Oceania :) Cogito 07-23-2007, 04:59 PM I'll just sit back and laugh. World domination is so very Pinky and the Brain, or SPECTRE, or Thrush. Thrush supposedly stands for Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was a popular NBC TV spy series, a network television response to the tremendous success of the first three James Bond movies. Not to mention hundreds (literally) of other reference books. But yes, I remember the early search engines, and a few network search tools before the World Wide Web.
