Nothing major, but we went from vbulletin version 3.6.5 to version 3.6.7. A few feature improvements but mainly bug fixes.

Just an FYI.

I can't see any difference...

That is great to hear Lp.
Banzai, members don't really notice too much of a difference I don't think.
But basically it just means that the forum has been updated really.

Or perhaps it's just part of the preparations for your welcome back party...but since you came back early, we had to change it back :p

Hey, I thought you were supposed to be away, renewing yourself, and here you are discussing the site's renewal instead!

Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

Yeah, most of it's behind the scene stuff.

Hey, you're seeing this (http://writingforums.org/index.php?styleid=1) not this (http://writingforums.org/index.php?styleid=4), right?

Whoa. What's with the second one? Kind of funky. Is that what it's supposed to look like? Because it doesn't. It just looks the same as ever.

Banzai

Okay, now it's changed. That was kind of freaky.

Banzai

What? It keeps changing! This is confusing me...

The second format has potential. It has the appearance of a more spacious layout, which could work well for posting stories.

Torana

I agree it is far better for the story postings as it makes them far easier to read and review.

Daniel

Banzai - that was profound. I'm not sure I understand you.

The second one is the default vbulletin one that comes with the software.

Banzai

Yeah, either I had something of a trip, or the layouts changed within in a few moments from this grey one, to the blue one, and then back again.

I think it depends on which "this" link you last clicked on. Apparently it sets your preferences, but I'm not sure whether it persists past the browser or login session.

Hmmm... This warrants experimentation.

Hey Daniel, I really like the separation of Sticky threads from standard ones with the grey bar!

Banzai
06-03-2007, 10:48 AM
Yeah, I also noticed and appreciated that.

Some of you may or may not have noticed, but there have been several small or moderate changes here and there... and they'll keep coming. :P

Changes, yes. But to me, it still retains much of the look and feel from before - nothing I have had to get re-accustomed to.

Then again, I haven't been here all that long, so I'm sure a lot of the changes passed right over my head because it's all still pretty new.

However, I have yet to encounter any change that made me think, "I wish he hadn't changed that!"
