I was originally working on a history of the online micronation "The Kingdom of Lovely" from 2005 - 2007, but found that the project was full of legal pitfalls. Now, in order to get myself published, I am working on a book of short stories.

What should I be looking to do to get a book of short stories published? By the way, I'm English, so don't explain in terms of American law and stuff, please!

all i can say is i hope it's not as hard-to-impossible to get such stuff published 'over there' as it is in the us...
