Should that be 'distinct'?

And while we're on the subject of this, I think that little description should be changed. It's confusing, and we should keep those simple and to the point. I'm thinking something just like:

"Here you can let everyone see the songs you have written, or any poems that have been put to song. Expect some criticizing and don't forget to give your own advice to help others improve."

I think that in the original one, all that suff about lyrics and poetry having similarities and differences is unessecary. Like writing a paper for school, you want to try to keep as close to the point as possible w/o bogging your reader down with words.

No, I think without it, lots of people would complain about how poetry was like song lyrics, and how we should merge them. People are like that, as the very creation of this topic evidences.

Well if that's the case, at least fix the spelling error.

Although I still think it's confusing and that could be said in a less wordy way. I'll put some thought in it to find a happy medium.

Hope so. And should you in the future find any spelling problesm forum wise with threads Pm Lpspider so he will be aware of the issue.
