Has anyone else read this book, by Dean Koontz. I read it a few weeks back, and thought it was one of the best modern horror novels I have read. The characters were one of my favourite features. What about the rest of Koontz's works? Has anyone read much of him, and can recommend any to me?

I love the Odd Thomas series! Now that you have read this one, you have to read Forever Odd and Brother Odd, respectively. They both just get better and better, and continually present wonderful new characters to read about. Odd Thomas is definitely one of my top protagonists of all time.
However, I haven't read any Koontz outside of the Thomas trilogy, because I'm afraid I won't like it due to lack of funniness when compared to the Thomas series. But I'm thinking of checking out his newest work, The Good Guy, sometime soon.

I've just finished Forever Odd, and I'm undecided on whether it was better than the first. I thought the ending was a bit...well, strange. But it kept me gripped, and I read it in about two days. I need to get hold of Brother Odd now...

I've read Life Expectancy and would definitely recommend it! I also just recently picked up a copy of Mr. Murder, though I have yet to dive into that sucker yet.

Also check out Whispers... forgot to mention it earlier, but a great read!

I absolutely love Koontz. I'd recommend
Fear Nothing and
Seize the Night (Fear Nothing part II so to speak)
and
False Memory
Dark Rivers of the Heart
Icebound
I particularly loved, as well. Argh... it's all good.
