My name is Daniel, though most people call me either Dan or Dano. If you're wondering about my username, I just couldn't help myself. I love watching the medical comedy/drama House. Don't know if you're all familiar with it. I've been writing for almost five years now, and this is my first time posting in a writer's forum. My favourite authors are Jeffrey Deaver, Tom Clancy, Michael Connelly and John J. Nance. Most of my novels are action-oriented. Good to be part of the group.
Cheers.

Hi Dan, welcome to the Writing Forums.

I never really thought of House as a comedy at all, even though House himself is wildly eccentric. But I haven't been an avid follower of the show, even though I've enjoyed those episodes I have seen.

Are action novels your preferred writing product, or did you mean that's what you mostly read? Hopefully, as you explore the site, you'll try your hand at a variety of styles and genres. The weekly writing contests are a wonderful opportunity to stretch your writing skills in new directions.

Make yourself at home, and get to know our diverse and sometimes wacky community. I hope you find what you need here.

Above all else, have fun!
