Wow. All I can say, really.

Has anyone else read this? I thought it was a truly amazing account of the Spanish Civil War. Aside from being endlessly helpful to me (I'm writing a story set in the same time period), Orwell's conviction regarding the war, and the POUM, and the bleakness of the war were moving. All done, of course, with Orwell's trademark wit and odd humour. If you haven't read it, I would recommend you do, especially if you have any interest at all in history.
