Anyone in this forum read this? If so, what did you think ...?

It has seven volumes

1. Du côté de chez Swann (Swann's Way / The Way by Swann's)
2. À l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs (Within a Budding Grove / In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower)
3. Le Côté de Guermantes (The Guermantes Way)
4. Sodome et Gomorrhe (Cities of the Plain / Sodom and Gomorrah)
5. La Prisonnière (The Captive / The Prisoner)
6. La Fugitive, Albertine disparue (The Fugitive / The Sweet Cheat Gone / Albertine Gone)
7. Le Temps retrouvé (The Past Recaptured / Time Regained / Finding Time Again)

And I just bought the first volume ...

I started reading Swan's Way a bit ago, and I loved it, but found I didn't have the time/effort to continue it. Also, being a student in French, I really would rather read it in the original French...Though I doubt I'll be to that level for another year or two.

I'm going to France in '09 and I plan to load up on Proust, Dumas, Camus, Moliere, and who ever else I can find.
