View Full Version : Geekness
dushechka 08-03-2007, 08:09 AM I'm curious-
How geeky are you? (http://www.innergeek.us/geek-test.html)
Yes, I actually am entertained by this.
Charisma 08-03-2007, 08:23 AM HA! Take that...I'm not a geek. I've just got tendencies.

Banzai 08-03-2007, 08:34 AM Good God, it goes on forever... I'm not quite bored enough to do it yet :p
Crazy Ivan 08-03-2007, 08:36 AM 47.14004%- Super Geek
Take that, bisnatch. And I've only had 13 years of life to do all that in.
dushechka 08-03-2007, 08:37 AM 41.7% - Major Geek
^_^ I'm not sure if I should be happy or upset..
Eoz Eanj 08-03-2007, 08:43 AM lul.
38.85602% - Major Geek
Yeah, I expected something like that.
Banzai 08-03-2007, 09:02 AM 13.80671% - Geekish Tendencies
...is that good, or not?
Eoz Eanj 08-03-2007, 09:06 AM Well at least it shows you haven't resorted to what many would refer to as last resorts when it comes to relieving boredom.
Banzai 08-03-2007, 09:08 AM Or I'm just so inept, I can't even manage geekiness :p
dushechka 08-03-2007, 09:10 AM 13.80671% - Geekish Tendencies
...is that good, or not?
I woudlave thought you to be geekier!
But it's probably a good thing you aren't. =P
Night Haunter 08-03-2007, 09:11 AM 12.82051% - Geekish Tendencies is that good or bad please tell me
Eoz Eanj 08-03-2007, 09:14 AM lol.
It's a good thing most probably.
It proves you do in fact have a life that doesn't revolve around inanimate objects and cyber culture.
Night Haunter 08-03-2007, 09:15 AM Kool. I think ;)
Banzai 08-03-2007, 09:15 AM Perhaps I'm so geeky, I'm cool....
..or alternatively, perhaps I'm just insane :p
Cogito 08-03-2007, 09:18 AM Are those options mutually exclusive?
Princes 08-03-2007, 09:20 AM 05.00071% I am not a geek of the world then. Chuckles
mypensmysoul 08-03-2007, 09:26 AM I didn't even get a button for my geekiness.
I only have geekish tendencies. :p
Cogito 08-03-2007, 09:43 AM Uh oh - should I even admit it?
52.07101% - Super Geek (damn that was a long test!)
BTW, welcome back, Eoz Eanj
Night Haunter 08-03-2007, 09:48 AM I like sci fi but not star trek so maybe thats why im less geeky in a test.
Eoz Eanj 08-03-2007, 09:48 AM Thankyou Cogito
and your score is very impressive, I wonder if anyone will be able to outrank the great Cogito.
Night Haunter 08-03-2007, 09:50 AM I bet the great Hulls Raven. lol
Cogito 08-03-2007, 09:56 AM The thing is, I've been around long enough to have done more geeky things; more math/science/language stuff, more comics, more games (including AD&D), and more sci-fi, like Star Trek when it was first run.
it does skew the score to have had more time to practice geekitude.
However, I bet my son would actually outscore me.
Night Haunter 08-03-2007, 09:58 AM In that case. to quote Wayne. "Im not worthy"
wordwizard 08-03-2007, 11:26 AM 7.49 % poser
erm.....that was way to long and therefore since I finished the test shows that I am a huge nerd.
Cogito 08-03-2007, 11:36 AM Yes, there should have been a huge bonus at the bottom for anyone who pondered every question.
<reconsidering> Never mind...
Crazy Ivan 08-03-2007, 11:43 AM Uh oh - should I even admit it?
52.07101% - Super Geek (damn that was a long test!)
Buh =O
You beetzd mah score
Nuuuu
>.<
....so yeah I guess I'm not THE biggest geek here. But in my defense, Cogito has had over four times more's worth of life in which to be geeky.
Cogito 08-03-2007, 11:47 AM Maybe you can retake it.
Hey, they should offer a slew of bonus points for that!
Domoviye 08-03-2007, 09:43 PM 25% Total Geek.
Although I should have given myself some bonus points at the bottom. Considering I'm in China, basically on vacation, but I took the time to take the test instead of enjoying the sights.
wordwizard 08-04-2007, 12:15 AM domo wins this geekfest ;)
Edward 08-04-2007, 02:20 AM heh, I laugh at the question "Worn a costume for anything other than Halloween" I'm waring a pair of hakama I had sewn for Anime Mid-Atlantic... they're my pajamas...
the several maps I own are all drawn by me...
man, I used to read encyclopedias... "F" was my favorite. it had faeries, and flag signals
glasses I have fixed myself... ;_;
sadly, I have dated someone over the internet for a while... ;_;
I have perhaps exaggerated to make my test score better... but not lied!
I've forgotten at the moment what http:// stands for...
how do you count to 31 on one hand?
awesome, 42(.01183)% geekiness. great number, but I still wish it was over 50... ;_;
This makes my whole life seem wasted... Thanks Duschechka...
Crazy Ivan 08-04-2007, 07:28 AM I've forgotten at the moment what http:// stands for...
how do you count to 31 on one hand?
Binary, my good friend, binary. My dad taught me it when I was 11. >.> Explains a lot about my family.
Cogito 08-04-2007, 07:46 AM Yup - counting digitally in both senses of the word.
Just be very carefull about displaying the number 4!
5.12821% - Poser
I can't even remember any of the questions apart from the 'Do you believe your a vampire' one, but that's mainly because I got slightly scared. And how would thinking that your a vampire make you more geeky anyway?
Crazy Ivan 08-04-2007, 08:44 AM Yup - counting digitally in both senses of the word.
Just be very carefull about displaying the number 4!
132 is the best. =P
Cogito 08-04-2007, 08:57 AM Counting with both hands, are you? Can you make it all the way to 1023 without getting a cramp?
Heather Louise 08-04-2007, 01:50 PM i aint very geekish apperently. 9.46746% - Geekish Tendencies

SeaBreeze 08-05-2007, 04:00 AM Er..... I don't think I'm a computer geek... I used to be a Buffy and Angel geek but it depends on your definition of geek. I wear glasses, but I hate tucking my shirt in.... so in the stereo type aspect of geekiness.... I don't think I'm a geek. well, not much of one anyways :D
Frost 08-05-2007, 05:55 AM Lol Im practically a prep or a jock according these guys.
Torana 08-08-2007, 11:53 AM 0.78895% - Well yeah ummm anyways!!!!
(This is so true! lol I'm not smart enough to be a geek lol)
Lemex 11-09-2007, 09:12 AM Poser! 0.39999!
That's only due to the fact i'm a Lovecraft fan. :D
Skyscraper83 11-10-2007, 01:28 AM I sometimes put on a Firefox T-shirt but I never wear it in public. It looks a little geeky to have a browsers logo on your shirt. I also have a coffee mug with the Linux logo. Do not judge me too harshly.
Bluemouth 11-10-2007, 01:33 AM Gee, who's this Skyscraper weirdo? :p
Nah, I think that's a cool T-shirt. I was going to buy one with the Pepsi logo on it but couldn't be bothered and I guess that isn't very nerdy.
Skyscraper83 11-10-2007, 07:20 AM Well I like to support Open Source software, so if I see something in their gift shop I like I sometimes get the plastic card out. Pepsi? I think I have Coke T-shirt floating around somewhere.
Cogito 11-10-2007, 10:16 AM My sin's Christmas list is mostly f.rom ThinkGeek.com. His tee shirts are most entertaining
MarcG 11-10-2007, 10:43 AM I can't say I expected to be just under 22%, considering the amount of time I spend on the computer and my extensive knowledge of PHP, Flash, websites, etc. (the list goes on).
Don't know why "Russian literature outside class" was a question, though. Possibly Asimov. :p
9.66469% - Geekish Tendencies. I didn't know geeks listen to Ween, that's cool, or geeky I guess.
