View Full Version : JetBlacks excursion to the movies
JetBlack 08-12-2007, 05:14 AM So anyways, i went to the movies with a mysteriously sexy stranger and i saw:
Mr Brooks
and
FF2:RotSS
Mr Brooks was brilliant, a straight 4.5 stars from me.
Don't want to say anything more that may ruin that brilliant movie when you see it.
Fantastic Four sucked royal ass. The Silver Surfer character was very dignified and bad ass, but Jessica Alba is a dirty ho and she personally owes me back the time that i lost from my life when she was on screen.
Stan Lee's cameo was awesome, made me lol.
I was incredibly disappointed when they changed galactus... i wanted to see the gargantuan fella fly in and pick up the earth and eat it like a gum ball.
Well, looks like ill be waiting for Ironman, Spawn 2, and the Warcraft movie now.
There has also been some talk about a Cable / Deadpool movie...rumors or not it would still rock.
End transmission.
Night Haunter 08-12-2007, 06:26 AM I also hear a legendary fave of mine Captain America is due to hit the big screen.
Heather Louise 08-12-2007, 02:21 PM i have not heard of either of those films, but if you are in America, you may get them before we do i think. which i thinks suchs in the case of the Harry Potter films, they are British books, British films, but who gets to see them first?? is it America or Britain??
Raven 08-12-2007, 02:40 PM Great Britain. JK Rowlings rule was that they had to appar on British cinamas first and that all the actors in the film had to be British.
Banzai 08-12-2007, 02:45 PM Yup. All power to the woman. Rule Britannia! :p
Raven 08-12-2007, 02:52 PM I second that Rule Britannia
JetBlack 08-13-2007, 03:06 AM Captain America you say? Sounds intriguing.
Aslong as they dont rape the storyline too much, like fantastic four.
Raven 08-13-2007, 04:59 AM Not if Stan Lee has anything to say about it.
As for fantastic Four Im afraid I've only seen the first one, and that was quite enough for me. I will see the second in a year or so when it hits TV, unless something better is on the otherside like Emmerdale! lol
Heather Louise 08-13-2007, 07:50 AM Great Britain. JK Rowlings rule was that they had to appar on British cinamas first and that all the actors in the film had to be British. i love that woman. seriously, i love a good British film, like the 51st state, how hilerious, and typically British is that film. and it is set only an hour or so from where i live. :D

wordwizard 08-13-2007, 08:34 PM There are a few films who come here just to shoot scenes on out highway hahahaha. It is REALLLLLLY straight and long. So I guess they can do cool stuff like flip semitrucks(been done here) without a lot of obstacles......I dunno just what I heard.....anyways................anyone seen knocked up? Best movie of my life.
Heather Louise 08-14-2007, 06:56 AM nah i haven't seen it yet, but i think i might be going. i went to watch Surf's up last night with Nick and it was amazing. i was nearly crying at this film, even though it is an animated kiddies film. hahahaa. there were points where i was howling with laughter, and gripping my knee in suspense. seriously guys, go and watch it. :D
JetBlack 08-15-2007, 06:24 AM Surfs up? I think not.
Penguins have been done already.
Raven 08-15-2007, 06:38 AM That id agree.
Cogito 08-15-2007, 07:40 AM Most stories have been done. Most themes have been done. What is important is how well it is done.
Heather Louise 08-15-2007, 08:47 AM Surfs up? I think not.
Penguins have been done already.
yea, but not surfing penguins with a stoned chicken :p no, honest, it is amazing, not some kiddies thing. well, either that or i am a kiddie. take your pick :p
Heather
SeaBreeze 08-15-2007, 10:45 AM I saw the preview, the chicken looked cool but honestly I probably wouldn't go see it unless I have my child with me. Which quite possible wont be happenign for a while. I hope.
But I'm goign to see The Simpsons this weekend in Bunbury though.
Heather Louise 08-15-2007, 11:12 AM unless you had a child, Nick saw a guy from work when we were there (the guy had a kid with him) and was sooooo embarressed :p
SeaBreeze 08-15-2007, 11:20 AM hahhaahhaaaa
