I found a link to The Dark Night the next batman Heathe Ledger playing the Joker. I still think Jack Nicholson was the best Joker. But we'll have to see.

Heathe Ledger is an excellent actor (damn good looking to :p) but I doubt he will be able to play the part as The Joker better than Jack Nicholson in my opinion.

Well if they do I certainly hope they write a better story than the first one. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed it but god was it flat.

I agree, adamant. It wasn't very entertaining, and lacked the grandoise that Tom Hanks' massive forehead gave the Da Vinci Code :p

I found the Da Vinci Code boring. Yet they are sequelling that too.

Hehehe, he'll never escape Forest Gump... Though he was very good in The Green Mile.

The difference with a sequel of the Da Vinci Code, is that they're actually doing Angels and Demons (the prequel), which was a better book. Though I still maintain that Dan Brown is a crap writer.

I wasn't talking about the movie... but that sucks that they're going to follow that up (the movie looked like it sucked)... besides, I thought we'd gone through just about everything with the first. This is why I hate Hollywood (and Disney) for their greed of money.

Mystery film only work when they are done right. Same with thrillers if they are done right then they are really good. A recent one I watched was Sandra Bullocks Premonition and that was a really good film.

I haven't watch a lot of "suspense" movies... actually, I haven't seen many films to begin with. I like Good Will Hunting though, made Damon a favorite of mine; but my favorite line was when Robin Williams held him against the wall and said, "I will end you."

I may have gone to summer school for failing an Advance Placement class (go figure), but at least I got to see that.

LOTRs trilogy only works if you see the four hour version of each film. But yeah they make for good viewing.

Its the Next Star Trek film that has my curiousity spiked.

I'm not that much of a Star Trek fan... well, not at all actually. Don't really even care much about Star Wars, though, I've always loved the technology aspect of it. Lucas seems to want to squeeze every ounce he can out of that -- aren't there supposed to be another 7-9? There's also going to be an Indiana Jones IV.

I must admit I have been a big Trekker in the past but now its not dark enough for my liking. I like the firefly (Serenity) and new Battlestar Galactica Sci Fi with gritt is far more entertaining.

So the trek movies always contain that Gritt well the wrath Of Khan certainly did.

But I do recommend Insommniac. and another favourite classic of mine called Black Rain starring Michael Douglas and Andy Garcia. the film was just well watch it you'll see.

BSG is a tight show. The only thing that sucked about it is: when I finally started watching it, I only saw a few episodes... then it went into hiatus until 2008.

I've heard a lot of good things about Firefly/Serenity (and how stupid Fox was for canceling it).... I saw ads for it, but never though to check it out.

well Whedon is trying to pull either a serenity series or a serenity movie sequel./ Though i don't fancy his chances now.

Hell yes. was an absolutly excellent film and the ever ending twists.

Good outcome but a little expected in some sense.

Eh... I need people to go to the films with, otherwise I never watch anything. Though I wanted to, I never even got to see 300. Dunno why, but it just seems odd to go alone to a theatre.

300 was good. A little weak in parts, but on the whole very good.

And Raven, isn't the next Trek film going back to the begining? And as for a Serenity Sequel, that sounds like a stroke of genius (although it might be difficult, with the fate of certain characters at the end of the film).

Matt Deamon is cast as the younger Kirk not sure who's playing Spock. And Christopher Pike. But its basically the main three Kirk Spock McCoy and Of course Captain Pike its supposed to be darker than any previous trek but then its a whole new team productition and etc.

Sounds interesting. Star Trek needs a fresh approach really. The most recent stuff has been getting really quite stale.
