Happy Birthday Chocolate Bear :p

It occurs to me, that it probably isn't your birthday yet, in your time zone. But it came up at the bottom of the screen, so what can I say? It had to be done :p

So, the big one-eight. Got anything fun planned? Hope you have a good day, you nutcase :p

Hahaha... "Chocolate Bear". Yes.

Though, I don't really have anything planned. I don't get anything 'cause college is expensive... oh-so expensive. However, I guess I'll try to arrange something to do. (Which will promptly fall through.)

Get roaring drunk? Always a good fallback :p If it's any conselation, my birthday is also sure to be a non-event. Still, enjoy it while it lasts friend.

Whoa... you're birthday is really close. Seem to be a lot of people born in August on this forum.

*And not that I will drink, but our legal age is 21*

Then again... nothing is really "illegal" if the cops don't find out. :)

Oh yes, I keep forgetting about that. Well, I'm in Britain, so I only have to wait til 18.

Though as you say, what the cops don't know...

Drunken Euro people... that would NEVER work on our side of the pond. (Dunno why I like that expression.) Chalk it up to our education systems or whatever, but there are some people that are brain-dead. (<3 Darwin awards.) On top of that, they start drinking, and it's all downhill. I've heard too many stories to want to drink. (Drug free is the way to be... unless the cops can't see!)

The voices in my head are lively in their merriment.

Happy Birthday, adamant! 5-1/2 hours from now in your TZ.

Have any special plans?

adamant

No plans whatsoever... I'm like the stepchild in my own family -- as I'm leaving for college in a few days, my dad is making me redo the room the way he wants it.

New carpet, paint (which I had to do), a 42" plasma TV, a computer... yeah

Thanks for all the pleasant wishes though, guys... and you too Tor

Happy Birthday fellow Leo.

I bought you that Impreza you wanted but it was cheeper to get it insured for me than to send it over to you. Such a shame :(.

Seriously, I hope you have a great day gorgeous.

RAWR!

I'm a Leo.... and my birthday comes no times a year actually, it's just an anniversary. :p Sayso... I'm getting that Impreza. Also, I think I'm going skating for a little while with a friend. She knows just about nothing on a board (yet she's a valedictorian, and kills me at everything... so it's kinda nice), and I'm going to try to teach her. Funny thing is, I'm certain she doesn't know it's my birthday.

Okay, I have the privilege of telling you guys a story that infuriated me at the time it was happening, annoys me now, and will probably make some of you laugh.

I was supposed to be going to lunch with a friend (the previously-mentioned valedictorian), and so I got directions from Map Quest because I had only been there once. I followed the directions all the way there, but apparently it was another place of the same name (which is odd as there only one on Map Quest). Anyway, I called my friend to try and get directions, and was told to just go on 41 and take a left on Shaw. So I proceed on the highway and got off on Shaw, however, it later comes to my realization that I was on the 99 instead. I keep going because I'm quite sure that the would be some streets that would lead me close enough anyway....

About half-an-hour later, I'm in some countryside-farm-area-thing and have no clue where the hell I'm supposed to be going. I, again, call my friend because she actually knows directions and she tells me to get back on Shaw (because she only knew how to do it from that street) after I had tried to go in the same direction to get closer to where I was supposed to be (I also tell her to stop waiting and go home). After a while, I finally find a road that lets me get back on Shaw and I take it as my fuel is running low. I see a petrol sign and follow it, but apparently it also tells you to turn with a small arrow... thusly, I have to make a U-turn to go back and get gas. From there, I finally find the path home, and here I am about two hours from the start.

So yeah... it's only 17:09, but I've pretty much done for the day. Didn't even get to see her before I head off to college. God I hate today.

Wow. That sounds...erm...interesting. See, that's my least favourite part about learning to drive. I have to know where I'm driving to.
