Hola. My name is Marie and I've been writing for quite some time now. I've written three novels, one screenplay, and I've started countless projects that I just haven't been able to finish. Writing is what got me through my adolesence and is carrying me into adulthood. I don't know where I'd be or what I'd be doing had I not found this passion of mine. I look forward to reading all of your original work, and to recieving comments and criticism on my own. Glad to meet you all!
Marie.

Hi, I'm a new member too. My name is Frances Lynn and I'm a writer!! Did you sell your script, Marie? I wrote a script once - the director gave some dimes to write it - but it didn't get made. I think scriptwriting is even more competitive than writing novels. At least, if you write a book - you can adapt it for a screenplay! I've just had two novels published, and am working on a third one now. Writing is tough, but self-promotion is even harder.

No, I didn't sell my script. It's currently in the bottom drawer being forgotten about so that I can go back in a little while and fix it.
I also write a lot of poetry. I've only posted one of my poems so far, and I'm really anxious to get some reviews. Please check it out, it's called Sunset to Sunrise.

I love raven's website. Impressive.
Marie, you sound like a real writer to me. And, you can write until you drop. Yes, what are your novels about? What genres are they? Also, do you keep blogs?

Damn, more new people. This place is going to be crazy with writing. Writing everywhere...on the walls...on the floor...on the ceiling- in blood, in the snow- yellow stuff.
Anyways, Hello, to both new people.

It is true a great deal of members have joined in this month alone.
Interesting.
I think if this keeps up this forum will be very busy with traffic come February 2007.

I keep blogs about personal things that I'm going through, yes, but nothing that I'm quite up to sharing at this point.
One of my novels was about a girl who was raped, and bared a child from it, and her life until her rapist was imprisoned. Another was about a middle aged man who fell in love with a teenaged girl, and how he had to go about his feelings while working with her. And the other was about a girl that was abused for the larger part of her life and she went crazy, drifting between world- but we never knew which was real and which was all in her head.
Thanks for the compliment, Frances. I do write a lot, but it hasn't been so much lately. I've been insanely busy between my human job, school, and my family. I was able to start something yesterday, and it's going pretty well so far.
