A very interesting forum here.

About me: Am a twenty-something female living in London. I have been writing for what seems like forever. I write all sorts. I used to write poetry and prose when I was younger, but I have grown out of that phase. I have done some short stories and have started about a hundred novels at some time or another, but have trouble finishing, cause my head whirls from one idea to another, which is mighty annoying! I am working on three seperate works at the moment, which are all completely different from each other, even genre-wise. Sooner or later I will figure out which one to work on first :o) I have noticed a great improvement in the last two years in my writing and maybe I am finally maturing, tee hee!

Anyways, I read a lot as well, but have no particular favourite writer (though I have to say a bit of Jane Austen never goes amiss to relax me). I read fantasy, biographies, fiction, classics, just about anything, though I am usually not a fan of thrillers or horrors.

Apart from writing, I also enjoy photography and am doing an evening course at the moment.

Anyway, enough about me, I will look around the forum and find out about you guys now!

Poetry isn't a phase but a feeling that compels you to write and is driven by the heart.

It is not a phase for everyone, but it was for me. :)
My head used to be fillied with poetry and now it is filled with stories instead. That's all.
