I mentioned a while ago that I was entering a float in our yearly santa/christmas parade. Well I did and it was a success. The theme was -x-mas around the world-
We did a float showing a brazillian x mas. It was a great time. We even had brazillian x mas music pumping. :D (i will post pictures later)

Best of all, we won a 500 dollar prize to our local grocery store we had to split it, and I got 200 dollars out of it)
We won the category-"Best new Float"-meaning it was our first year entering and compared to all the other new entries... ours was the BEST.
As I was just writing this, I got a phone call from the offical judges, and I was supposed to recieve a plaque and I must go pick it up.

What an exciting day.

At the end of the day all that really matters is that you had a lot of fun and it sounds like you did.
