None of us want to but we have no choice in the matter.

How would you like to leave this world?
How do you picture you're death and how would you like to die?

I wouldn't mind just taking a nap one day and dying in my sleep, natural causes of course. If I gotta go violently I'd prefer it to be instant, or in the service of saving another life. I think I'll quote Cogito now.

"If I'm going to die for something, it won't be something as pointless as the voluntary inhalation of toxic fumes." ~ Cogito

I want to die in a peaceful place. Somewhere beautiful and worthy of my eyes glimpsing a last scene, sight.

I don't really mind, I just dont want to die meaninglessly. If I die of natural cause, so be it, just not meaninglessly.

How do I want to die? hmm sleep I suppose, or just slipping away quietly. If anyone has heard of A Country Practice (a long time cancelled Australian TV series) there was a character called Molly, she had luekemia and waas sitting in the paddock, all rugged up on a chair watching her husband (I think) and daughter palya dn fly a kite. Then is showed the viewpoint from her as everything started getting darker, like her eyes closing and you could see her husband turn with a massive grin on his face, he was having fun then you watch as his grin fades and he starts bolting towards her screaming out "MOLLY!" it just seemed like such a simple death in a way. I want to go watching my husband and children maybe. Or old and surrounded by grandchildren.

If in a violent way, perhaps something quick. I would risk my life to save another, especially a loved one.

I look forward to death. Not in a morbid sort of way. I look forward to the rest of my life, too, but death should be very, very interesting.. I hope to know I'm going to die within a week of my death, and how I go, I hope will be painless.

I can't think of a good way. Maybe falling off a huge cliff (even though thats my biggest fear) and doing backflips and the running man.

Frost
12-01-2007, 07:56 PM
Bit of a stuntman eh?

SeaBreeze

As long as I'm intact when I go It's all goood!

no actually I am not a stuntman(girl) but at least it would be more fun then just falling. If i seen someone go out like that, I would think highly of them. They would deserve the respect. It is a final FU to death. haha

Oh i see. I think I'd sing a song or something, instead of screaming. That'd be chill.

If I had fallen of the face of a cliff... I'd have to rock out.

Eh... I feel like Cog right now.

I want to die pressing the big red button that says "Under no circumstances press this button! You have been warned!"
Seriously, I do.

Mate and i planned this about a year ago.
We are going to fly out of this world, as old ladies.
We plan on getting tattoo's all over our body's, wearing nothing more than an old studded leather jacket, driving granny scooters. And one new years eve we want to fly off the cliff everyone goes to to view the fireworks around the bay.
At least we'll make the newspaper :)

That's truly awesome.
I admire your goal.

I have to die with my husband.
He has all these computers and GP's and gadgets that I don't have a clue how to use.
He also has thousands of dollars worth of tools which I don't have a clue as what to do with.
So if I die with him I can leave all the hassles of them to my two wonderful sons and I can go on with my next life unencumbered.

A convenient death.

I wish you wouldn't. For those of us who have lost someone we love through the voluntary inhalation of toxic fumes, it's an ignorant, unnecessary and offensive quotation.

I'd like to die for something worthwhile. A meaningless death is one of my greatest fears.

How would you like to leave this world?

asleep... just not waking up...

How do you picture you're death

as dead... i. e., no longer living in the way i have been, for over 69 years... anything beyond that would be conjecture and i don't have to know what it is, if there is any other form of 'being'...

and how would you like to die?

asap, since i'm extemely unhappy with the world mankind has wrought and would like to be relieved of having to be part of it... but, since i don't make decisions, only deal with the 'what is' at any given moment, i can't justify bailing out and so go on doing what i can for others, while i'm stuck here, knowing it won't make the world or the species any better... so, when i do go, if i'm conscious of it at the time, my last dying words will be a heartfelt 'thank you!' to whatever gives me the gate...

Sorry Rob. I apologize.

I'm sorry you feel that way Robert. If you have read the smoking thread, you will note that I HAVE lost someone that way. And it was a completely pointless way for her to geo. She'd have been the first to agree with me.

Nor is it the only person I have lost that way. She was just the closest one.

No need, loh, I brought it up to begin with. And I do stand by what I said, meaning no disrepect to those who have become victims of the material in question.

Many became addicted to it when it was merely an "adult custom", before the dangers were fullly understood. Later, people were drawn into it because of peer pressure, or a need to rebel, or as a response to stress. Sadly, it is much harder to drop than most people realize. Some researches have suggested it may be as addictive as heroin, or worse.

But no matter how people got caught by it, it is a killer.

Something not meaninless. Some thing worth giving my life for.

Torana
12-03-2007, 09:30 AM
I'd like to go saving the life of someone else. I've been close to death before when I was in labour with my son Mason and it was a terrifying experience. But at that moment I made the decision that his life came before mine. We are both here so it turned out fine as you can tell, but if I could choose how I died it would be saving the life of someone else.
