I am afraid of seals and sealions. They freak me out.
What scares me the most? Knowing there are people in teh world who get a kick out of killing raping and or kidnapping.

Seals freak me out because they arent as friendly as one would think. They sometimes jump in boats. eeeep. Sealions are massive. and very grumpy.
My other fear is pretty self explanitory as to why it scares me.

I also fear death. Mostly because it is so unknown, and sudden and final.

I'm scared of spiders, failure, loss and the dark.

Loss and failure scare me more than anything...I have very high expectations of myself and I worry about losing the people I'm closest to.

Wow this took me awhile. At first I decided not to respond because I'm honestly unsure fo what scares me. Mostly my reactions to what people usually find scary vary. Sometimes I'm calm and collected, othertimes, in the same situation i compeltely freak out, so I have a hard time deciding what scares me but just a few minutes ago I thought of one.

I'm scared I make people angry. I'm often told I innocently offend people on occasion without ever realizing it and that makes me nervous when I talk to people. I don't like people to be angry with me because I like to think I'm a very caring and understanding person.

I know EXACTLY how you feel there Lord!

I'm generally afraid of social situations. Change is also a big thing but I had to force myself on numerous occasions to take the leap of faith. I used to fear death but I don't as much now.

SPIDERS are a big eeek! If they are massive and black and crawlly.....

I'm uneasy around graveyards, and scared of getting old.
Other than that, the idea that we are utterly insigificant in the universe and there are greater minds plotting our doom is a bit scary too.

I fear the unknown
I fear that coming events will be unknown to me and I feel very uncomfortable with that.

I have one really massive fear and that is a certain person in my life. I want the person ot be in my past and stay there but it will never happen.

The one thing I fear the most is mind games though. I fear them as much as I hate them to be honest!

People playing with your thoughts and emotions and bending everything to their advantage and convincing you to believe them is terrifying for me. Although having a gun pointed at your head is rather terrifying and spiders. They petrify me!

Actually I think one thing that I really do fear is getting into another relationship and my children getting hurt. It happened once before and my son was hit. So I am petrified of that happening again. Though many single mothers are.

I'm scared of dying before i achieve anything substancial

Although having a gun pointed at your head is rather terrifying and spiders

BTW: Why do you think so many people (read the thread) are afraid of spiders? Why aren't we afraid of, say, moths or caterpillars, which can be much bigger, and have more legs? why not ants, which are more numerous? Why not mosquitos and horseflies, and other things that sting us? What IS it with spiders?

I saw that movie when I was seven. I still refuse to swim in the ocean.

If I go to the beach with my wife, I stay on the beach. I'm very attached to my limbs, and I plan on keeping them right where they are.

I'm scared of my friends or family getting hurt or dying before their time.

I am afraid of my getting sick.
not that, that in itself is scarey but the fact that Dom is so far away he would be worried about me and not be able to do anything.
He knows I can look after everyone quite well but who would look after me if he isn't here.
the other thing that really terrifies me is that something would happen to him and I would have no way to help him.
other than those 2 things the things that used to scare me seem trivial.

I have a fear of hurting other people, to the point that I'd rather be unhappy in my life knowing that those around me are happy in theirs.

Not too keen on spiders either, I usually call in my daughter when one appears and ask her to remove it to somewhere safe.

Found out today that this guy my brother knows is afraid of frogs! O.O

There is nothing to fear but fear itself.....

I am afraid of needles, lightening although i quite like it, spending too much time with myself and at the moment gainning weight.
