This has to be his best novel to date. It's suspence filled from start to finish and with superb characterization.
This terrifying story takes place over the course of a single day. The police are investigating a series of brutal murders in which the victims are all involved in organised crime, but all is not what it seems and soon the police are facing a far more formidable opponent.
Seriously scary stuff...

Odd, same here.

I've heard good things from another forum I've gone to, though. maybe i should get to reading it.

I think it's pretty a good read for that genre of novel.
A very sinister and captivating thriller.
What I personally found most admirable was the sense of horror it induced without sadistic details.

I dunno. Odd Thomas and Life Expectancy are both excellent novels. And Lightning had one of the best plot twists of all his.
