Savvina yawned, happy but also sleep at the same time. She immediately straightened her back, trying to act lively and energetic.
"I hope Michael and AJ get here soon."
She purposefully skipped Julian. Now guilt poured into her heart, as she thought of last night. I should've told him.

Chasity grinned, feeling more comfortable.
"I just hope they don't get here all at once," she said. "What about Julian?"

Savvina gave an uneasy look, but she realized that lying wouldn't really help.
"I'm not sure."

Chasity wasn't entirely sure what that meant. She wasn't sure if he was coming? That seemed to make the most sense. Something seemed wrong to her - she would be more comfortable, in fact, with less people, but it seemed like the whole thing wouldn't work somehow unless everyone was there. But she kept her mouth shut.

It had ben thirty minutes since his father had picked him up. Julian noticed his father was stalling for unknown reasons.
Julian knew his father didn't want him to come.
What is he hiding? he thought to himself.
Julian twiddled his fingers and then his eyes widened in fear. He watched as his two thumbs went through each other. As if he were a ghost.
"Father am I alive?" Julian asked quickly.
"Yes," father said.
"You can see my thumbs right?"
"Yes,"
Julian stared at his thumbs. What was that?

"Did you even tell Julian?"

Savvina grinned.
"Such a blurry memories...I don't really know."
She then dryly turned away, murmuring.
"Okay, I didn't tell him."

"Why not?" Chasity asked flatly, blinking her eyes in slight dissarray.

Savvina shrugged. I could tell this to her.
"He's a jerk and I don't think he needs to be here."
The last part was totally a lie - but she didn't want to worry Chastity.

Chasity felt a bit cheated.
"I thought . . . I thought everyone had to be here? If not, what am I doing here?"

Savvina confidently smiled.
"If he doesn't come doesn't mean it won't work. I mean, we got everyone else, don't we?"

"If you've got all but one square of the Rubix cube, can you still figure it?" Chasity asked, thinking back on the thing that had occupied her for a month, figuring it over and over untill she could do it very quickly, but she knew each cube mattered.

Savvina shrugged and looked back at the road.
"It's going to be alright. We can pick him up on the way."
She had to admit - it wasn't easy saying that.

Julian heard something inside his head. The car was still rolling along slowly and Julian was feeling anticpation now.
But thsi voice he heard in his head. It was Savvina's. He could hear her thoughts. Or at least her subconcious thoughts.
Julian watched as he black converse disappeared for a second.
If he could hear her thoughts. Maybe she could hear him.
Savvina I am going to my dad's work with him.
I am a bit worried and scared.
And also...I think I am disappearing.
He hoped the message got to her. He hoped she didn't hate him so much she didn't want to talk to him.

Savvina suddenly felt a bolt of unknown phrases jumble up in her head. She slowly comprehended it, first recognizing it a boy's voice and then as English. After she understood, she gasped and slapped her head. She was talking to Julian! How could he?!
However, captivated by the cool telepathic style, she decided to try for herself.
Can you tell me which street you are on?

Julian looked up at the sign.
Ember. I am on Ember just turning to Woodridge.
Savvina...I don't want to disappear.
Julian seemed almost impressed that this telepathtic thing was working.
It is not telepathy my children.
Your fears are resonating with on another.
Julian looked down at the floor. His converse not disappearing anymore. He looked at his reflection.
"What if this is the last time I see my reflection," he mumbled to himself.

Savvina didn't know what to tell the girls. That she was hearing things in her head which were actually messages from Julian who was fading?
Nah.
She turned to Chastity, with a worried expression.
"I have to go for a bit. Be right back. Promise."
She then turned away, though she knew being alone with Jesse might petrify her. Hopefully, Jesse would control it though. Hopefully.
She jumped over the fence and ran to her brother's car. She had already stolen the keys, now she needed to drive it. She wasn't too good at it, but it was worth a try.
Climbing in, she pressed hard on the accelerator as she zoomed past her house, aiming for Woodridge. She had been there only once, but right now the path became so clear.

I'm coming, Julian.

She thought to him assuringly.

Julian giggled a little. A little happiness crept in heart at this moment.
Look Savvina I am sorry about what happened a dinner.
I am fighting my concious a lot.
A lot of the time I am depressed an a bit suicidal.
I am really sorry.
Will you forgive me...and we can we still be..
The words stumbled in Julian's mind for a bit.
Friends.
And also can I say something?
It should be the other way around the boy saving the girl.
Julian giggled in his subconcious a little. The thought of Savvina maybe going read face as she heard his theorology.

Savvina nodded as Julian said those words. At first she thought that was just another of her 'subconscious desires', but it was different in tone than that so she accepted it as his words.
Apology accepted.
Upon his mentioning of friends, Savvina gulped down and smiled.
Sure.
It took a while to say that though! At his last comment, she laughed, somewhat blushing.
You get your turn someday.
She saw a black car cross into Woodridge, and she followed it.
Behind you Julian. What's the plan?

Slow down Savvina.
I have a plan, but I need you to slowdown or else we are going to the hospital.
"Dad! You're going to hit a deer!" Julian said trying to fake the sounds of panic.
His father hit the breaks, Julian smiled knowing he would. He just hoped Savvina had slowed down enough for him to get into her car.
Or someone elses car.
Savvina whose car is that?

Savvina first thought he meant that metaphorically, but when he explained it better, she immediately lifted her foot from the accelerator. Suddenly, the car in front stopped, but then another panic hit her. There was a car beside her. It was her Dad.
Julian, I'm in the white one. Come fast. If Dad catches me I'm toast.

Julian scrambled into the white car and buckled himself quickly. He smiled at Savvina.
"This is kinda exciting like a robbery," Julian said, "Now hit the accelator and squeeze through both cars...if you don't know how I can do it..I have done it plenty of times."
Julian smiled at Savvina again.
"Thank you for the help and thank you for forgiving me,"

Chasity shifted her feet uncomfortably. She didn't show her fear as the world began to grow again. Jesse seemed nice, and she was only one person - but Savvina's yard was huge.
"Jesse? Do you mind if we wait in the barn?"

Savvina grinned and took the chance to prove to Julian that she was not that bad a driver. Okay, it wasn't that he had challenged her, but it was in her blood. She pushed the accelerator aggressively and simply whispered:
"Hold on tight."
She let the rear-view mirror smash into her father's car, which wasn't a polite or sensible thing to do, but some sacrifice had to be made. She sighed as she went past them, and then kept her speed high enough to lose them.
Finally, she breathed in and turned to Julian, smiling.
"Sure is a robbery. I robbed ya!"
She giggled, and then said saliently:
"Welcome."

Julian smiled he sure felt that the black abyss in his heart was lifting.
"You sure did rob me," Julian paused, "i am going to get in a lot of trouble for the stunt I did...adreline really gets to us doesn't it."
Julian felt as he did before the fight. He felt comfotorable with Savvina again quite quickly acrually.
It might be the high excitement that bound their friendship actually.
"So, do we have any plans?" Julian said.
Julians eyes grew wided and almost in awe. He noticed how close they were to the city labs. It was giagantic with large steel windows and a larg dam. It seemed to reflect the blue cloud filled sky.
"Its huge..."

Savvina giggled.
"Nopes. All I know is, Chasity and Jesse await me back home, and AJ and Michael are late. What to do with them? We've reached the place."
She then gazed at the metallic shine which reflected off into her eyes.

"My father's labs," Julian whispered the words trembled on his lips.
He didn't know why, but he felt something deep and connected with this place. Julian suddenly remembered the blond boy in the picture.
Why was he remembering something like taht all the sudden?
Julian saw his thumbs disappearing again.
"Its happening again...," he said in a very low whisper.
he didn't know if Savvina could see him becoming something of a ghost.

Savvina gulped down as Julian suddenly looked ghost-like. She wanted to scream but she restrained because it would cause unwanted panic. Suddenly, she felt Julian nearby. No, the other Julian. Suddenly she felt a jerk and then found herself possessed. Maybe, she wasn't sure.
She looked back at the fading boy and spoke like a robot:
"Don't worry Julian. You're just transforming."
Like that was reassuring.

Julian head began to split open or felt like it was exploding. It was the worst migrane he had ever felt. An earthquake inside his mind. He saw a white room and in the white room were whit coats. Whote beds, white walls, white machines.
Everything in a white room. The only color in this endless whit was blond.
"In the white roome," he managed to say, "The white room we will be able to speak...in the white room you will be able to say...in the white room you will be able to help or at least I hope...I am taking back myself now."
What did that mean?
Wasn't he who he was?
Wasn't he Julian Ultzer?
Wasn't he?
He watched as the his body began to fade. Until there was nothing nothing more. He had no thoughts and he had no dreams. Only dreams he created.
"Now come to me,"

Savvina got out of the car, emotionless. It was almost as if his fading away was a part of the cycle of this life - as if she were a Grim Reaper with no remorse whatsoever. She was calm, not an inch of weakness in her. She simple walked to the building. Someone was calling to her.
"The others will come after you. You must follow me."
She felt as if her soul were being pulled, and she had no choice but to move. Her steps became faster, she couldn't tell when her feet were on the ground and when not.

That's good. Make sure the security gaurd doesn't see you.
The security gaurd fell down and unconcious.
I know how wrong this look...steal that ladies card the one with the long brown hair in the ponytail. Make sure you sneak it off.
You must find me and the others will find you later.
Right a that moment a man walked up to distract the lady.

Savvina conveniently moved and picked out the card from the lady's purse as the man talked to the lady. Sweat burst out of her forehead but she made it quite a good steal. The lady didn't notice anything wrong, and simply got back to work. Savvina walked into a narrow corridor, though she had no idea why.

Now you must find the door that will allow you into the white halls. The white halls were they hide what they must.
The door appeared to Savvina quickly.
You must slide the card in the slide. It will open.
And the door did open.
Now walk the halls until you find me. No one will look at you and no one will suspect you.
One of the men bowed his head toward Savvina.
"Morning ma'am," he said.

Savvina smiled, but remained focused. She kept walking, feeling no fear of any kind. Her eyes were optimistic and her heart was filled with hope. The room was endless, and so was her imagination. She stopped when a salient figure came into sight. It was him, his euphoric blond hair so fresh while his eyes shimmering like diamonds.
"Julian, I'm here."

(Mind you he is in a coma at the moment. He is guiding you with his subconcious.
You have to wake him up.)

You found me, but not saved me. Can you find me? Can you save me?

(Ah yes.)
Savvina worriedly eyed the body as it became clearer. He asleep, or was he dead? Savvina cautiously moved to his afloat body - or that is, afloat on a bed and shook him. She didn't know how to save him, but she could attempt to. She sat by his side and pressed his hands gently.
"Julian?"

(Wow! Savvina's reaction is like one mourning the dead.

I will not be able to resonate with your subconcious longer. All I can tell you is...the white button my dear...the white button please.
The white stand and the white button.
They have hidden it in this white room, white hall, white hell......
The button before its to late.....then I can help you....save me....then I'll save you.....I want to save you......save you the most.....

"What about you, Julian?"
She asked, feeling his hand far out suddenly. Her emotions were ironic to her actions. She moved away from him, searching for the white button. And here, her heart desperately called out to Julian. Her body was no longer in her conscious control.
"Julian!"
She cried out, her eyes filled up with tears. Her beautiful locks of hair jumped around in worry as she shook her head, still unable to control herself. The only thing that she was able to do was press the button.

Julian's eyes had opened. How long had it been since he had seen the world?
How long he wondered?
He smiled at Savvina's tears.
"Thank for saving me,"
It suprised him how he remembered every living function in this world.
"Dear do not cry...for now its my time to save you,"
Julian sighed.
"I will have to wait for the others, but if they don't come in fifteen minutes you will all die,"

Savvina blinked, a little confused.
"That all would be really nice, Julian...if I just knew why there were two of you, and how did you communicate with me, and how did you, of all things?!"
He moved closer to him, feeling complete.

"When I was in a coma I altered my concious...so I could make my reality come true," Julian replied, "In a coma I was able to find the inner power that humans do not use much...I used that to split my energy into two...so I could always keep a watchful eye on Mr. Ultzer...that is were the Julian you knew came from."
He looked at her.
"That Julian was my spy, but now Mr. Ultzer is getting worse...the program he has created will kill millions if we do not act,"

Savvina's eyes widened.
"What is happening? Does is have to do with these fears of ours?"
Time seemed to pass so quickly, since the fifteen minutes were rotting away.

"Yes, it does have to do with your fears....half of your fears was my fault, but I needed to get some way for you guys to get together...the other is Ultzer program...he is putting special vitamins in the water you are drinking to enchance life," Julian paused, "These vitamins activate things that shouldn't be activated in the brain...it can be good for a while, but to much will finally destroy the brain and kill you enventually."
Julian paused and looked at Savvina.
"Ultzer is a manical man without knowing it...he discovered this water source from the biggest company of science...Federal Science Labs of Enchancing Life," Julian paused, "If you want to know more...you should talk to the mutants in the tunnels down below."

"Ah, the tunnels! I just hope everyone gets here, and then we can go there. You'll come too, right?"
He eyes were optimistic, though she had started to feel excessively sleepy. Her eyelids were heavy and she was started to see blurred images.

"I will try," Julian said, "But now you need something...your fear of sleep will only have your brain decline."
Julian grabbed Savvina's head. Her eyes closed.
"I am hear...there is nothing you fear," Julian said, "There is nothing to fear."

Suddenly, something snapped inside Chasity.
"Jesse, we have to go to the Ultizen labs. Now." As soon as she said the words a fear engrossed her. The Ultizen labs were gigantic, and the first place she'd become afraid of. Still, something felt right. It felt like they had to go, no matter how great their fears. It was time to be a leader.

Julain smiled. It had been such a long time since he had felt the warmth of another. And this warmth belonged to no other then his sister.
His sweet sister.
Well she techinically wasn't his sister. He would have been born from the same mother if his spirit hadn't been taking away from the womb. Savvina mother had an abortion.
But he always tried to stay close to Savvina to watch her. In the end his spirit freely went to another family.
He was raised by them and was given life by them.
He wondered if his subconcious bred off onto Savvina.

Savvina smiled, and in midst of tiredness and exhaustion, she felt her head going clear. No confusion, whatsoever, or deprivation of peace of any kind. Her sleep was still evident, but she felt the power to avoid it, and the internal unity to overpower it. However, time was running out. She wished she could do something - but what?

Julian smiled and he closed his eyes. Not to rest, but to think. What was he going to do next?
The mutants were getting impatient. And the other children were still to far away.
What were they trying to deny of themselves?

Jesse wasn't saying a word - she seemed as if she wanted to keep some distance between us, and that was fine with me. The thing is, my heart was beating quickly, and my back was stiff - I felt all symptoms of fear, but my mind wasn't afraid. I led the way to the Ultizen lab - I had a good sense of direction and was surprised I remembered the way from when my mother worked there three years prior. Something else was leading me though - I didn't know what, and it would be all well to me if I never did.

Julian smiled he knew what he had to do.
"I'm sorry Savvina...you were so nice to me,"
In a flash of light Savvina disappeared and everyone was safely in their homes.
"I have to do this to protect you," Julian paused, "I am sure now that you knew all the facts that you will be able to piece them together...this time the mutants will come for you as allies...I'm sorry I have to erase friendships...I thank you all.
