Brief Intro

Just a quick hello and a brief intro. My name's Rob. I'm active on several writing forums, to varying degrees (so I may have come across some of you before) and manage one of my own. I've been writing and workshopping online since March 2004. Had some minor ezine placements (Skive, Defenestration, Blue Almonds (now gone), Backhand Stories). Placed in a couple of comps (JBWB (2nd), Milton Keynes Speakeasy (3rd)). Not subbing much at the moment, but looking forward to a busy 2007. Hope to offer some advice to newer members and read some interesting stuff along the way.

Spent some time in the forces after leaving school, then worked in Saudi Arabia for a while, both in avionics. Back to the UK to work on medical systems then automotive systems, moving into software. More recently, working in the defence industry in the UK in software subcontract management.
