Well its not as small as it was.

Personnally I'm hoping to be living in Ottowa Ontario Cannada very soon. :)

Woah, you live in the middle of nowhere, well technically it is a somewhere but if you suddenly appeared in alice springs your surroundings would probably suggest that you were in the middle of nowhere.. well that is if you appeared outside the town.. far outside where you can't actually see the town.. I've heard it is a pretty, peaceful place nevertheless.

Yeah, I'm from australia too, I live in Perth. I like perth, beats the fa-shizzle out of where I used to live, I too lived in the middle of nowhere and unlike alice springs where I lived was not pretty.

Alice Springs? Pretty? The town itself isn't, but the surrounding country side isn't to bad. The town is just full of punk-ass teenagers who cruise around in gangs, starting trouble. You literally can't go anywhere by yourself in this town, you'll need at least three, especially at night time.

But, most luckily, I have about three schools worth of mates willing to back me up if **** ever gets bad for me. And luckily, I can more than hold my own in a fight.

Well that sounds like a load of fun, glad I haven't been there then. I came from a fairly quiet little town in WA called Manjimup. Not much but it's home

An almost backwards country but for some reason its catching up economically. Where I live, in a small city called baguio, its inhabitants are much like frost's town only more tame... almost everyone is trust worthy, take note, ALMOST. It's beautiful and it's home.

Birmingham, UK - have lived here all my life. Would love to move out of the city soon though, it's people that make somewhere home, not location....

... was born/raised in ny with brief stint in florida... lived in california, arizona, nevada, connecticut, washington dc, washington state in adult decades of my 'old life'...

...have lived in many places around the world since i left that life [and all i owned] behind... after 'retiring' on the pacific island of tinian, was begged back into house-sitting and am currently 'on assignment' in hesperia, california...

...may head for malta/gozo when this 3-5 yr gig is over, to live out whatever may remain of my elder years...

Last week there was a massive gang fight between like 60 people, 30 on each side. It was the half-cast aboriginals fighting the full blood aboriginals. Im neither. I just watched on top of a school roof. It was a crazy wild fight, the cops couldn't do **** about it.

well im from the rainy little country town called manjimup, but now reside in the dusty, hot desert town of north wa, called carnarvon, where u cant go anywhere by urself at night, without the fear of being bashed or raped. but hey. the fishings great, and thats all that matters to me
