The twist was outstanding. I wholeheartedly agree. I never would have imagined that! Generally I'm good at guessing where a twist will lead. I loved being surprised.
I have always felt so conflicted with some of the resolutions. I love Doctor Who. So it was a hard blow when they would give these bizarre outs that made no sense in anyway or were desirable to the story. I sort of liked Rose. She wasn't totally lacking in independence that's why I liked her. Also I am a sucker for a love story. Martha made me want to gag. I hated how she practically threw herself at him even though it was obvious she didn't have a chance. Donna was.. okay. I wasn't wild about her because the romantic tension wasn't there. She was mouthy though and I liked that. Awww I like Bernard. He's a very endearing character because he is so devoted to Amy. Also I like Amy she is by far my favorite companion. She's a great blend. I loved the series finale! Matt Smith did an amazing job this series. I remember people were saying how he didn't look like a good actor of the doctor, I'll admit, I was a bit worried, but he's proven to be great!
