it feels stronger inside me stronger feels like i have a grip on destiny as if i could chose to fly at any moment but the thought is dizzying i don't have the courage but its so close i can feel it like tingles, i can feel it there just beyond myself, just beyond me if i have the courage to leap Tired of conventional poems so I'm just writing whats on my mind. Maybe something will come of it...
sleep today and tomorrow work too little sleep and life's full of more work i got a good chance, can i make it all work i'll see, but for now, it's all work, work, work
I can no longer slide to the center, moderating my intensities with cautions and precautions. I only know eruptions when the calm is gone. Disruptions and corruptions when the heat comes on. Sailing the seams of my own sanity, wondering and entranced with the depths within me, Scared of all that lies before me. Borderless dangers rise all around me. Electric sensations everywhere. A different world where life sings like a siren, Pulling me towards destruction's wrapped in seductions, I'm in love with this demon twilight. Hanging off the edge of a reckless soul, between mania and passion, madness exists. The one bliss I share, that I live without care- like an arrow or flare, burning in the air And you...I'll see you there You, whom I share Us with
Same formula all the time. Something happens. Experiment...accident...mutation... Something happens that creates the thing that creates a million vampires that go on a rampage and kill millions more- swelling an army of undead. The world endures this epic Z-Day and everything is thrown back into a quasi-medieval state. Except...this could never happen. Not on the extreme global scale. Why? Well, for the old school slow and stumbling zombies, they are SLOW and STUMBLING. No matter how many there are, people would instantly recognize the symptons of a dead-looking mo-fo stumbling around on the street lurching after people. People always say, 'Well, it's the numbers that make them dangerous." but they would never reach these numbers. People would definitely be shocked at seeing them, and their would definitely be fear, but not the panic that leads to the dissolving of order. They are so slow and weird that they would be judged more on a cautionary scale than a terror scale, like a disease. Something to watch out for, but nothing to go running to the hills over. But the fast ones... That is a different story. I LOVE the movies 28 Days and Weeks later. I thought 28 Weeks had some epic zombie scenes, like the beginning scene and the helicopter chopping zombies in the field. But these zombies were far more terrifying because they didn't just lurch about and catch you unawares. These were olympic predators who- upon notice- would hound you into the ocean and the turn over rate from human to zombie was swift. Under those conditions, a flash epidemic in a crowded place is definitely imaginable, but not on a global scale. Because...zombies are dumb and we- if not all of us- have some pretty clever bastards here and there. For instance...how does the military lose to these guys? No way. Zombies could be drawn out merely with noise. Just bang a bunch of pots and pans in the middle of the city and have men in full armor armed with axes and swords do a massive hack job. When they tire, remove them, disinfect, and have a fresh wave of people come in and continue the job. You don't need nukes or ammunition. Hell, you could have a caged goat or even a person in a cage dangling over them as bait. It would be good ol systematic slaughter on the part of the worlds armed forces. Just like WWII, the zombies may get the initiative, but when the momentum settles it's only a matter of time. That and with zombies caroding and all, how long could they last before nature itself just crippled them to...well...cripples. Their blood dries up, the muscles rot. Without these things, their is no motion. Without blood, they have no fuel to power these muscles, movement, senses...They would be the epitome of blind, deaf, and dumb...but with immobile to boot. Of course...that's taking the fun out of it. But this is an age where people seem to rely on a scientific explanation to explain what's going on- even if it's psuedoscience. The whole "well, it just is and that's the way it's always been" doesn't roll over as well. So what would make zombies truly terrifying? Make them super contagious. The zombies, themselves, while dangerous, are not really the most terrifying aspect. What would make me truly scared of them is that they are the walking, stalking carriers of a disease that would rob me of everything and of which there is no possible cure. What if you didn't just have to get bitten to become a zombie? What if it could be passed merely by touch. That the disease saturates them and whatever they touch, wherever they have been, it remains there, hibernating and immune to exposure to the environment until some living thing with a body temperature comes along and reanimates them. THIS would make them truly terrifying. Because no it's not so simple as running away. You have a pyschological fear of EVERYTHING. How do you know a zombie wasn't here before you and that everything you are touching, the water you are drinking, or the air you are breathing hasn't somehow been infected? You would always have to fight a zombie at range because- as any forensics person knows- close contact always leaves an exchange between the two and just being near enough to them may put you in grave danger. This also means it would be a daunting task to reclaim any territories lost. Not only would you have to clear the area without being infected by these super-carriers, but everything around you is almost bound to be infected by the time you do manage to do something. The clean-up effort would be enormous, and all it would take is one missed spot to start the whole thing over again. To add an even more sinister effect, make it so that while animals are not turned by the disease, they do become symptomless carriers of it as well. And we all know wild animals- as they surely would become- migrate and so outside of assured, domesticated animals, one would haeve to kill every dog, pup, and bird they saw, and the risk of having a personal pet is too great because at some point, they could be exposed and you wouldn't know it until it was too late. Imagine having a person or pet come down with the flu during this time. You, hiding around the corner to their room, torn by grief and paranoia- concerned, but with an axe in your hand not knowing if every second you let them live puts you at risk of being infected. Survival instincts are STRONG and I wouldn't underestimate them. A person could be crying their heart out and lay waste to their entire household under the suspicion of such a thing. Oh yeah...did we forget about ticks...mosquito's...rats? Well...that's my whole spiel on zombies. At the most, under pure scientific possibilities, they would probably be able to spread considerably and cause considerable alarm and havoc, but no where near global shutdown levels. Eventually, people would become informed and the fight would eventually turn over for the better. Except in the case of that super-bug scenario, and the impossible fact that they did not simply just die out from decomposing. At that point, they become an enduring menace just lurking.
From Naruto, to King Aurthur, to a lot of things, I noticed that they attempt to instill morals in a person and show a person how to be right and virtuous, concerned and caring, friendly and amenable toward people and in the end you succeed. But beneath that, there is still the same message that nature shows you over and over again... The strong survive and the weak submit. Neither Naruto nor King Aurthur triumph because they are right, they triumph because they are strong. They are not strong because they are right. There are many people around them that know, feel, and do the right thing also. "Right", truht, justice, equality, and happiness are not rights but privileges handed down by the strong and guarded by the strong. If the strong fall, their sense of right falls with them, replaced by another whose sense of right may be stomping you in the face upon meeting you. And so the cliche, there is no right nor wrong, no truth or falsehood, only speculation and perspective. My word verses yours, and in the end, if I am stronger and I chose to, I can make you act as I believe. Thus bullying, tyranny, or whatever.
After a lifetime of dreaming I woke up screaming a nightmare had come to me. I think horror is a good genre to explore. I'm usually only used to fiction and action, but I found branching out into other things does actually improve you. And I found that it can be the simplest things that have the most effect. The feeling of walking down an empty corridor at night or hearing noises in the ceiling while you sleep. Of feeling the sheets pulled from your body in the night, or having a person follow you down the sidewalk. Perhaps waking up with a stranger standing above you. Though you've seen it in movies, you having no idea how jarring that can be in real life. (i guess it's my job to convey that) I wonder if my style would be something genuinely creepy. Something that walks up your nerves with a fork, twisting them slowly like violin strings until they begin to snap- one by one- each chord sending you to a new level of madness...or terror...or both. I think I'll write three. Three's a good number. Omens come in three's. But for some reason, those three lines in the beginning of this post are stuck in my head. I want to build on it... but how?
Cheating is a bad thing. I get that. It's a betrayal of trust and the emotional, physical, and spiritual investment that goes into it for a variable amount of time. But really, it's not manslaughter or anything close to it. It's about as damning a crime as abuse in the most extreme case. So why does this unbelievably unfair law still linger around that states when a couple separates for reasons of the man's fault, he is to give her half of whatever he has, regardless of what he has. I understand a smart, intelligent, empowered woman such as women are would have a hard time in the world finding something to do and supporting herself after a lifetime of...uhhh...but realistically, if anything, the husband should, at most, be charged with providing funds enough to get her started on self-reliability that certainly should not have to meet the standards of living she had under him. F**k what she's used to, for lack of a better expression. There's no situation I can think of to where people as rich as Micheal Jordan, Tiger Woods, and every other rich cheater-who-got-caught should have to pay half a freakin fortune to these woman. NONE. That being said, after you are forced to endure this outrage, report directly to your lawyer and punch him in the face. Where was he on you wedding day where your wealth was banging on the window yelling, "WATCH OUT!!!"? It seems like the simplest thing ever. You have a lot of money...there are a lot of money-grubbing posers out there...prenup. Ok, she may have played that whole trust thing. View attachment 3901 "You never let me near your neck." It's a nice form of emotional manipulation, but it can be easily turned. She should be able to trust you enough and applaud you for making a wise gesture. As wise as "inspecting the rug before you knock the boots off it". Anyone who presses you to ditch securing yourself is a shady being or insecure, and even more reason for you to take caution. Be wise as the serpent, they say. Guard your gold.
I'm wondering whether there is any validity to it. Like anything not really well known, there is the serious side and the goofy side. For the serious, think of the rashes that are triggered (or a theorized to be triggered) by stress, as well as the strange range of ailments suffered by the body and mind during such times. What this says is that our mental state or our mind has a certain influence over our physical body. Our thoughts can alter our physical state. That would mean that your thoughts, which can affect someone else's thoughts, can alter someone else's physical state. Well known is the woman who lifted a car to save her child. In a serious light, studying psychic abilities is an ascended for of psychology ignored by professionals to embarrassed or fearful of it to be different or be ridiculed. (thought it's unfair to call them cowards since their fear is based on the almost immediate ridicule people would give them for even stating such and the immediate threat to their income should they pursue such) Psychic abilities, to me, simply highlight the highly unexplored relation between mind and matter. Einstein believed matter and energy where interchangeable, if not the same. Matter can produce energy and energy can produce matter. Think of it another way and each is capable of controlling the other. Now this is not where we make the leap of believing we are all Tetsuo from Akira somewhere down inside- though I LOVED that scene where he flew up into space on top of the satellite. Mind-blowing at the time (1997, I think). I couldn't say the range or potential of such abilities, but one thing I feel assured of is that we would have a far more complete understanding and control of our bodies. External psychic abilities probably have something to do with the power of suggestion, the degree of perception, and perhaps something a little more unexplained. Radio waves are a form of energy and I'd say that all matter acts as receptors to that energy in some varying degree or another. It wouldn't surprise me that we could psychically read the shifts in a persons "energy" that correlate to their mood the same way we read the shifting expressions of their face and/or body. After all, our bodies interpret sound and light energy and we hardly process through our conscious side all the information received from either. Why might it be difficult to learn or accept? I think there is a sort of war between the subconscious ans conscious sides of us. Hypnotists are probably the furthest pioneers into the mind- on a psychic scale- we can officially account for. You can see it in their process of navigating through a persons mind and thoughts as they bring them from consciousness to subconsciousness that there is definitely a barrier. We like to be in control of ourselves. Not being so can be as freaky for a person as waking up driving without there hands on the wheel. It actually seems like there are two parallel sides. As if one part was sealed off from the other in some way, naturally. When a hypnotist wants to explore, he asks to conscious to appease and negotiate with the subconscious as if it were the medium. Because of this, our unconscious evaluation of the data or consciousness largely ignores goes unnoticed. That and the consciousness is FILLED with misconceptions, preconceptions, fears, emotions, etc that will distort such authentic psychic impressions or readings, if any, into something COMPLETELY different and unreliable. And strangely, just in the same way the answer to one question leads to a hundred others, the sense of clarity and discovery that unfolding psychic talents would bring would almost immediately be clouded by the fact that it brings into focus, perhaps, another dimension of existence. Psychic abilities do not necessarily prove the higher existence of the individual "soul". It's still, when trying to think seriously on it, a simple matter of matter and thoughts or matter and energy interacting on a scale largely unknown to us. But it's possible. Many things are possible. That's why even in our time, there is always opportunity for adventure...if you're not afraid to take the plunge from the known.
How much do you know? You can not know more than you have directly experienced. Most of the knowledge you have you build up regarding things you have not experienced, places you never been to, situations you've never been involved in...All that is hear say gathered from some form of media or another. It may be right or it may be wrong, but you don't know that. You knowledge is based on trust in hearsay. Hearsay... hear + say. They hear it and they say it. Substitute 'hear' with 'see' and 'read'. Now you know where knowing comes from. Or do you My basic point is that, especially in today's information age, a lot of people can go around thinking they know things- even negligible things they may be taking for granted. But beyond our immediate little worlds that we can experience with our own senses we do not really know anything beyond that. I can't say don't trust your textbook, or don't listen to the news, but be aware that in every age there are many thoughts and ideas that was right then- an provable, mind you- but wrong today, and your news is just things being said and shown to you from what most consider a credible source, but by no means infallible or incorruptible. It would be better if I start off by saying, 'I do not know' And if saying that enough times makes me uncomfortable, go and seek the answers for myself.
what else can i do but smile another year ends and another one begins and i would have hardly noticed if people didn't make such a racket about it i could talk about looking back and changing, but new year's never was about that for me it's just food, friends, family, and fun after that, it's on to the next day maybe the day after turns out to be better than the last but if i must i hope nothing bad happens in the future and tomorrow is better than today and whenever the bad may chance to happen i hope i can always find my way and so to my future and all the things in store welcome you're always welcome but you don't have to rush
I have a great many questions that confuse me. 1. Human ingenuity. Fact or Myth? Well, I know I'm not a genius, and just about everyone I see around me are not geniuses. The mark of a genius seems to be that he is able to create and pioneer in a way unknown and unforeseen. He seems to see things in another way and with common knowledge or techniques make of it something incredible and new. It seems that genius isn't a difference in intelligence so much as it is a difference in perception and imagination. As if the normal mind can see a diamond from one side and theirs can see it from three or more at the same time, backwards, forwards, and upside down. But when you think, the actual geniuses must account for... 0.0001% of the human race. The rest of our intellectuals and professionals merely familiarize themselves through reading up on the books detailing the findings of others, thus becoming highly knowledgeable of the information already discovered but unable to proceed beyond that point. To put this in scope, the smart guy is able to look at a microwave, analyze the principles that created it, and then find the particle physics behind it's creation. This is not genius. This is hard work and dedicated investigation into something that already is. Genius is the guy who was able to invent the microwave in a time when everyone was using brick stoves. The ability to conceive of and create from those ideas which, derived from known and unknown ideas, have no precedent. If only one person in a room of fifty can play basketball, are we all great basketball players? This leads to my next question... 2. The genius of ancient races. Fact or Myth? We all know the paradox. Ancient civilization using instruments not far from rocks and picks create colossal monuments of engineering that are said, by modern professionals, to be very, very difficult or incapable of being reproduced even with the aid of computers. There are some interesting facts we can derive from this... * the ancient mind is either no different or actually more advanced than our modern minds, capable of conceiving of complex formulas, forms, and structures without the aid of computer technology * we think ancient people were much stupider than we were. this is probably a galling myth for the same various reasons one would assume their child is stupider than they are * the professionals are egging up to this 'historical genius' notion, and we are actually fully capable of reproducing such feats, but what the hell are we going to do with a huge freakin pyramid? * we were not able to conceive of these things and there is a strange plot whole in history Apparently we had some very impressive minds back then. They were able to chart the coasts of the world, built buildings that lined up to astrological data, and calculate the circumference of the earth before knowing the existence of the America's. No wonder people accused one another of witchcraft. This is mind-boggling and/or shaming. It's like hearing my four year old brother built a rocket in the bathroom while taking a dumb...In the colonial era. One could venture into the UFO theory. I wouldn't blame them. What prompts a man to look for subatomic particles- many times smaller than what would be visible or even suggestible by any magnifying glass of the time? It's like setting sail and looking for GUYEFJDHFJAHE. You never heard of that or anything relating to it, but you set out for it? You are not even aware of the word or name for it. The sudden appearance and disappearance of genius comes very close to something out of nothing, which is near impossible. Where does this genius come from? Can we mimic the process. Is it simply a difference between the make-up of minds or the perception or is it something else? 3. The current technological. Strange or not? Funny how thoughts link together, right, lol. Now I am thinking about today's times and the exceptionally swift roll-out of pretty startling technologies. I mean, one minute it is part of hollywood fluff, the next, we are throwing it away to make room for the next best thing. I have a theory that borders on the shady. I believe that we already are in possession of some startling technologies. That what is unknown in public is being used already in secret and that little by little, they are portioned out into the world in order to resemble the facade of engineering advance but for some reason there is impatience and these things are being pushed out quicker and quicker. That's as close to alien tech as I'm going to get. I tend to disagree with the whole alien theory, but then there is always something weird that doesn't add up when you look at things from a distance. I know, I know, don't discredit the human mind and things are easy once you think about it. Very true. In fact, our entire technological world could have been made by a person in the stone age if he could just think about it. No one invents the IPOD until it is, and then you have a fleet of hackers able to crack it open, stufy it, and modify the logic to bypass industrialized settings. A thing is impossible until it is thought of, then it is only a matter of time. But the rise is inexplicable. We are really sailing through innovations here. They just invented the RFID microchip? Bullcrap. Touch screen? Bullcrap. The most reasonable explanation I could offer was that it was used by the military or something. Funny how al roads lead there, right. There is a reason for that. Most of the great commercial techs we have stem down from research discovered as part of military advancement programs. The tech just trickles down from them, snatched p by the highest bidder, and applied to commercial enterprises. How can such innovative minds invent such far reaching technology and simply use it for the most basest of reasons. Aggression and the threat of aggression. Ok, that ends my track of thought for the night. Perhaps I will wonder about something else that strikes me as weird. Matrix style, weird, lol. There's a glitch in the system
At approximately 4:43am Eastern Pacific time, Massachusetts local law enforcement had responded to what appeared to be reports of a traffic incident. When law enforcement got to the scene, they reported seeing Mr and Mrs Kringle in a heated argument over an anonymous text message that came in on his phone from a woman in Peru. Mr Kringle also appeared to be a little tipsy. Separating the two and legally obliged to search the vehicle, officers recovered what appeared to be 20 kilo's of heroin. Mr. Kringle claimed it was shaved ice he had just bought from a vendor in the arctic. Age unknown, Kris Kringle, aka Santa Claus, had been suspected by international authorities of running the most powerful drug and human trafficking ring ever recorded in the history of the world. Sustained for centuries, Interpol claims that Kris Kringle was able to move slaves and drugs over international skies with impunity. "He ran a strict operation. He moved only once a year, transporting massive shipments always under the front of delivering welfare packages, good will, and cheer to the children of the world as well as some parents. The level of fame and emotional support he gathered from this made it very difficult for us and related authorities to pursue or prosecute this case but we think we hit solid ground here." - Deputy Commissioner and Chief Public Officer, Interpol Kris Kringle and Mrs. Kringle refused to give any public statement regarding the recent developments or further accusations that in fact many missing children around the world were being abducted and sent to the north pole to work as slave labor for an undetermined amount of time. The Kringle's lawyer and family friend phoned in, saying "The following developments have been a very hard, very confusing time for the Kringle's and while we take the sincerest efforts in sorting this unjust characterization, we hope the media and the citizens of the world will show their continued love and support to the man who has brought them and their ancestors the same for centuries." Kringles Inc representative David Schummer stated that shipment of all presents and packages will continue as scheduled. As ir stands, it may be the last shipment that comes form the polar factory that has always had an open heart, closed door policy on reporters and media agents since it's opening.
Why do we not have change? Because people don't want to change. They want everything to change around them while having to do as little change to themselves as possible. It is an unequal bargain. It is asking for effect without work or effort. Change is a process, not an idea. It is not enough to think it, one must act upon it. When the changes you see around you are not the changes you desire, ask yourself what have YOU done to change things differently instead of blaming everyone else around you because then we are all blaming each other. And change for the people never comes.
So the sun never settles and the sky never falls that's what my mother said There's all sorts of colors the bright and the fair like the plants in a garden bed Just take time to laugh it's worthwhile to smile and good things will come your way Cause he who loves life is loved by life, best and blessed, each and every day
