Hi, This novel that I started plotting out just today (very interesting idea, in my head anyway) is being planned out alot more than the others. With this, I hope to actually finish it, unlike others, and be happy with a good piece. For instance, I used to just jot a few plot points a chapter, and write from that. But now I tend to write maybe three quarters of a typed page of plotting, a virtually summarised version of the chapter. I will just go through and write everything down that happens in a writing style, rather than dot points. Another, more unorthodox method I do is write the first and last couple sentences of the chapter at the top and bottom of the summary, so I have something to move between. What do you do?
Don't I have an interesting life.. Right now it's ten past one on Sunday morning, and I am sitting on WF.. Haha.
Hi all, I would just love to share something about what happened yesterday. We were doing creative writing in English, and I asked the teacher to read over my story. He was smiling while reading it, said it was amazing, and said it was easily the best in the grade, and perhaps the school. The school bit was the most impressive, considering I'm in year eight, and my school spans to year ten. I know this probably doesn't mean much to you, but it was a great feeling to me. Cheers.
i have a massive amount of time to write tomorrow, and am going to utilitise it. My aim for the day is four thousand words, but im not sure if this is being to hard on myself..
Just punched out a GREAT fourty or so minutes of writing. While it was only eight hundred or so words, they were just slipping out with ease. It has been a while since I have been able to do this, so im fairly happy about that. Just thought it would put this out there
G'day everyone, greetings from Australia here. This is my first blog entry, so I'm excited about that. Two things I'm wishing to bring up today.* Is swearing permitted on your blog?* And the other day, I received some excellent advise, about writing anything randomly. I was bored tonight, so I decided to give it a go. I just sat down for five minutes, wrote about absolutely anything. I found it very effective and funny how I jumped from topic to topic. I started randomly writing about the country of Germany and my expectations of it. From here, I ended up talking about Australia and its beauty, with the downside being Julia Gillard. I rambled on about my dislike for her, and began speaking about poetry, then began speaking about soccer and my semi final tomorrow. 300 words later and a stimulated* mind.. Might try this next time I'm out of ideas for writing I just found it humuorous how I jumped from topic to topic. Catch ya, From australia.*
