These are some lyrics and a recording of one of my more recent songs. The recording ain't so great, I'm still working things out in the song. Here's the recording Crystal Clear Crystal Clear ------------ if everything was crystal clear wouldnt life be sweet and dear if everything was crystal clear noone would have to shed a tear but nothing is just as it was a blurry window to the future near a constant change hanging in the air life is just one giant mirror trying to make it through this life trying to be happy in a sea of discontent trying to make it to the top trying to succeed in the face of all this failure if everything were laid out for you oh how it would make life so easy if everything was planned out for you oh how easy it would be to simply follow but all of life requires work a little effort, a little might just don't give up, fight the fight and in the end, you'll soon find starting to make it through this life starting to be happy in a sea of discontent starting to make it to the top starting to succeed in the face of all this failure you have everything you ever wanted and yet, that's still not enough you have everything you ever wanted and still inside you feel an empty hole material things are a waste of time once you have the best, another appears you'll never be on top, just really close and the facts settle in and soon you are dying now that you've made it through this life dying of discontent in a sea of happiness dying up here, sitting at the top dying like a failure in the face of your success failing to make it through this life
Aren't words a marvelous thing? At a young age I learned to play with them, manipulate them, change, warp and use them. Language replaced my lego as a toy of choice. I don't simply settle for a sentence that gets the point across. I view a sentence as a piece of art. How you form it reflects a bit of your inner self. You're remembered most for your words in my opinion. No matter what you do, it'll be your words while doing it that people quote. All the great historical figures are like that. We reap the rewards of their actions, and quote them. Their words were their ideas, and by mirroring their words, we too can enact similiar changes today. Words are powerful. The words you choose to say can be the difference between keeping a friend and losing a friend. Finding that balance between using words, and not using words is key too. Some nice philosophizing for my first entry. I like this place so far, so there will be more blog entries to come, sharing some of my stuff and what not.
