    You saw Them Crooked Vultures?

    I'm quite envious.
  2. rottingsmiles
I've seen a bunch of those bands! I've seen flogging molly 3 times and im seeing them again monday! i've seen msi, korn, bring me the horizon, NIN, Bad religion, flyleaf, in flames - though my experience wasn't good lol- and others you didn't mention lol
  3. Evil Flamingo
MSI and NIN shows ar crazy ****in' awesome! Love 'em. =]
  4. black-radish
I'm going to make you even more jalous.

It was Them Crooked Vultures first gig ever. ^^

And your experience with In Flames was not good?? It was the most amazing concert I've been to, they had a great line-up and Anders was constantly involved with the audience, stealing camera's making shots of the band, filming an entire song and he even aksed this dude on stage to sing clayman... and that guy was really good too! lol anders was like: Oh, I guess In flames has a new frontman, I'll be drinking beer backstage! lol it was soo awesome.

And the first time I saw MSI was great, he put 3 things in his pants: the microphone, cookies and the hand of a girl in the audience! He stole someones shades and a balloon of a tv reporter lol
The second time was exactly the same, only he also spit on some people in the public. Luckily I have not found out why they call him Jimmy Urine in the first place. :D

Been to over 300+ concerts and over 40 festivals and i still keep missing Tool.

Saw Korn in 1996 just after they did Follow the leader. Glad i saw them when i loved them.

My Fav concerts probably A VIP Smashing Pumkins (100 fans) and Rage Against the Machine a few years ago.

Oh, and the last gig i saw Pentara... Or Alice in Chains.

Most shocked was when i saw Pink. I actually think that women has talent and kicks arse.

Edit - What's your favorutie In Flames album? So are so diverse, i find it hard to listen to just one.

Saw them at a festival last year and was not to inpressed (wasn waiting for lamb of God, Machinehead and Rammstien)

But saw them with devildriver, Arch Enemy and someone else and thought they brought the house down.

Well the first concert of In Flames I've been to was really mellow in comparison to the second, so I guess they're not that constant as a live band.

The smashing pumpkins, that would've been good! :)

It's really hard to listen to just one IF album, since my favorite songs are all off different albums, colony and come clarity are really good, but I also like the newer albums, reroute and a sense of purpose, 'the chosen pessimist' is just so amazing.. I like reroute in general, but my favorite songs are of older records, ( my sweet shadow, only for the weak, take this life, zombie inc, ordinairy story, come clarity ) altough system is also really good.
I'd have to say colony then.

Do you listen to Katatonia? :) I loooove 'in silence enshrined', 'without god' and 'brave'

Not too much of a concert goer as I suffer from a slight case of enochlophibia (fear of crowds).

When I lived in Berlin I saw a few. This was the late 80's, so...

    Depeche Mode
    Midnight Oil
    Sinead O'Conner

Yeah the music and **** was good but my girlfriend at the time was throwing up and crying and i was trying to be a good guy and look after her. still ruined the show. and one of my friends got thrown out because some asshole started beating up a girl real bad in the mosh pit and my friend beat the hell out of him for it. =[.
  10. rottingsmiles
Im gunna make a list for fun! Ive seen Slipknot, Misfit (x3), Disturbed, Dragon force, Inflames, Otep, Shadows falls, Ill nino, Rancid, Rise against (x2), Suicide Silence, 36 Crazyfists, cky, avenged seven fold, flogging molly(x3), Methodical, Fly leaf, Korn, NIN, Dir En Grey, Peaches, Shadows of Dawn (x5), Machine head, Under oath, black tide, five finger death punch, red chord, billy idol, msi and a bunch of bands i cant remember off the top of my head.
  11. Speedy
OMG, wrey, you saw Midnight Oil? (Aussie band) Awesome. Peter Garrot (spelling) became a politician (not a very good one)

Not a lot. Can you give me directions where i should start if i was too?

I had forgotten about Ill Nino and Soul Fly. South American legends.
  12. Evil Flamingo
Ya can't forget about Ill Nino, man. They make the day better. =]

Haven't been to a show of theirs though. =[
  13. rottingsmiles
illnino and soulfly rock! i saw soulfly recently! like last month
  14. Speedy
    I just noticed this! HOW?

They went on after Sid Vicious died? wtf...
  15. black-radish
    Yep.

And I would NOT reccoment this to anyone, it was horrible. I get the whole 'punk' style is not to give a crap about anyone or something but that johnny rotten was the bigges asshole I've ever seen.. he came on stage 25 minutes late and then moaned we didn't cheer enough and went off stage again, saying he wouldnt come on unless we made a bigger effort. **** him, he's NOT sid vicious. The festival I saw them at actually made a formal appology to everyone because of it.

    Good times....
