So...

I am going to be more active on here, especially since I have to wait until I get accepted to UCR before I am part of another writing group. I should know in another few weeks if I get accepted. I'm currently trying to pursue my Bachelors in Creative Writing. I hope I get in. I've only been out of my community college for a few weeks and I already miss school.

My last two classes, Sociology and Psychology, have definitely opened me up to a few new perspectives. I am now trying new things in my writing. I don't want to write "pretty" poetry...I want it to be real. It's hard though, reaching into yourself like that and putting it out there.

But people aren't "pretty" so I guess writing without limits is the best I can do to understand myself.
