Hi guys! I'm Middie

To pretty much reiterate my post in the "New Member Introductions" (accidentally titled "H" instead of "Hi," whoops), I'm a 20-year-old college student. Although it's not my major (electrical engineering, yeah!) I really enjoy writing in my free time, and have been doing so since about 7th or 8th grade. Realistically, I don't expect that anything I write will ever get much attention (I'm not even sure if I'll end up publishing anything), but I mainly write for myself anyways. All that really matters to me is that I'm happy with my own work, but if it ever does get to the point where it's good enough, perhaps someone else can enjoy it too.

I've been looking for somewhere to ask questions related to my writing, because frankly, Yahoo Answers just wasn't cutting it. Plus, I always feel a bit awkward posting questions where I need to specify that I'm doing research for a story, and not planning a murder...

So, I joined this place! I don't really expect to be using this blog feature much, but I'll definitely ask questions (some of them probably pretty stupid) and attempt to answer some (if anyone actually cares about the opinion of an electrical engineering student who just likes to write stuff in her free time). If I make more progress in my writing, then I might use this blogging feature more to post some progress updates or whatever, but in all honestly I don't think anyone's going to be reading this anyways.

I guess that's about it for now... So... bye? I dunno. I don't blog.
