Hello

  1. I never knew this place was here :D
    But anyway, I plan to check in often and try to connect with a community of creativer writers.
    I work as a journalist, which sometimes screws up my other writing life, but it's the only job I can find where I get paid to write!
    I do like my job pretty well, but I really enjoy it when I come home and leave all the news and AP style behind and actually write.

    Today is Sunday, and I'm hoping the Australian Open is on television where I can catch some good tennis. I will, of course, write while I watch!

    Hi booksmith,

    I've always thought journalist would be an interesting occupation. Probably a lot more interesting than economics. And hey, a ton of famous authors were journalists before they were novel writers. It's a great starting point!
