I am new here

I am new here.
I'm an amateur writer. I hope that people can give me some constructive criticism and tips to help me really improve on my writing. I'm sort of scared about people who might totally bash and bruise me, but I guess that's a chance I'll have to take. I'll try and take criticism for good because that's what I'm here for.

I'm in a band with a friend of mine on this site and I'll post lyrics and updates along with her to keep people posted.

I'm a realistic fiction (if you would call it that) writer. I hope to be in the movie making business in the future like directing, producing, writing scripts, screenplays, plots and ideas for movies that might even be good enough to make on at least DVD or Lifetime television.

Thanks in advance for any ideas and tips that you hopefully will give me.
