I feel your pain Mugen (is that Japanese? as in "let's dream?') You know what I would do? I'd imagine the hawks and the deer as people and the animals in your area as the neighbors.

i didn't know what mugen meant before. i took the name from one of my favorite characters, Mugen from Samurai Champloo. but when you mentioned it i googled it and it came up with "limitless" or "infinity". better than cow-poop, right

I feel your pain. I come from a very rural neighborhood in western ny. Panama doesn't remotely feel the same unless I drive at least 2 hours away from where I live. I feel a bit closed-in at times. If you're in New York City, I would imagine you would feel similarly.

Hey, while you're there, try some ropa vieja and platanos, ok?

wow, lol. if i had five favorite foods, platanos would be one of them. they call them plantains here and i usually find them at Caribbean or Asian buffet lines. never cooked them myself...

The green one we turn into "patacones" here in Panama. The yellow ones with some cinnamon are the best!
