Adulation A poem by Zcreative
Undying devotion to
Admiration infinite,
Lavishly praised,
Commending your every decision,
Fawning over you,
Practically worshipping
the very blurt of your name.
All I wanted,
the only thing I grieved for,
Was to be acknowledged,
For you to bestow upon me
your almighty approval,
But no,
you didn't react,
didn't look up,
even after being complemented!
In return, only criticism,
not constructive, just hurtful.
You abused your status,
thinking only of,
Yourself.
Revenge,
not necessary,
The ship,
has already set sail,
When you fall,
Who will be there to save you?
I can tell you this:
This time, it won't be me.
(Btw this was based off of the word of the day )
