  1. She is not what I would have drawn or designed had I been asked. If I strip away my preconceptions of her and look a her objectively, she does not answer to the technical definitions of grace or good form.

    Yet, I cannot look at her and not feel a small lump in my throat.

    I cannot look at her and not see her as beautiful.

    She is an ugly duckling become a beautiful swan because if my connection with her, my love of what she represents.



    Adventure.
    Discovery.
    Betterment.

    I thought that that's the 1701-A?:confused:

    In any case, she is my fav Enterprise too, I cannot imagine a human race in the future in space without an "Enterprise" in it. Roddenberry was a genius and did much more than just make another franchise, he put a signpost ahead of us and told us to travel towards it, all we can do is follow the vision and enjoy the ride:)

    I love this ship. Its design makes practically no sense, there's no effort to streamline as most science fiction of the time did, and yet somehow it... works. :)
